exactly. but Roy only wants to push one narrativeI think in all fairness, their are quite a few QB led offenses that could win a SB with the 2002 Bucs D.

He also brought up Flacco as an example. Yeah, the guy that had the greatest playoff run in the history of the NFL for a QB. Flacco threw or 1,100 yards, 11 TDs, and 0 INTS during that Super Bowl run.I can answer that. They are similar in how they play. In Johnson's era most coaches reined in their QB's. So even though Johnson had the arm to push the ball down the field, he played it safe & kept the offense moving. Overall skill and accomplishments would go to Johnson.
ie, they are both average to above average NFL QB's who can be in contention given the right circumstances. Difference is that Johnson has achieved the objective.
The Cowboys don’t do well against the better teams. Mainly because we aren’t as good of team. It was the same issues in Romo era on the most part. And both QB’s basically propped up a dysfunctional organization , defense and poor coaching. This is old news! It's a known fact Dak doesn't do well against the better teams.

That shows how much research he puts into his opinions....
You failed to mention a generational level Elite defense as well.He also brought up Flacco as an example. Yeah, the guy that had the greatest playoff run in the history of the NFL for a QB. Flacco threw or 1,100 yards, 11 TDs, and 0 INTS during that Super Bowl run.

The 2012 Ravens wasn't the 2000 Ravens. You failed to mention a generational level Elite defense as well.
Those facts are entirely irrelevant because a) they're not predictive and b) they're not compared to other quarterbacks and teams .
The Bucs were 1-5 against playoff teams in the regular season last year. By my math, that's a considerably worse win percentage than 5-13.
Yes, he had a great playoff run , kinda like Foles did with Egirls. The 2012 Ravens wasn't the 2000 Ravens.
They were 20th in run defense and 17th in pass defense. They gave up over 30 points twice in that playoff run.
Flacco had the best run ever for a QB. That's what got the job done. He stepped up.
I mean we don't... Would 2016 Dak win a Super Bowl on that Bucs team? Probably, but there's literally no way we can know that, so i'm not sure why you spazed out like that.
He plays dumb with the best of them I’ll give him that…that’s how I know he had a few accounts on this site lol.
Not sure honestly he speaks like about 5 other idiots on this site and at this point I’m questioning if they are all the same person lol…usually he gets his burner accounts to like his posts lol. What was his other handle?

I was just pointing out that the Ravens did not have a "generation elite defense" in 2012.Yes, he had a great playoff run , kinda like Foles did with Egirls.
So in a couple years when Daks salary isn’t in top 10 he won’t be expected to have as much success?Yeah but their QB has nothing to prove and this was about Dak and not our team.
For the amount of money Dak makes he now has to step up in those kind of games even if the team isn’t having their best day. That’s what 40 million dollar a year players are paid to do.
Or..
We can just keep it real and admit right here and now that we got ripped off bigtime and Dak goes as the team goes and we should’ve invested less in him and more on the surrounding cast which was the main driver for his success anyways.
I think he was a good example for his career. Did he have an outstanding playoff run. YesI was just pointing out that the Ravens did not have a "generation elite defense" in 2012.
I just think Flacco was a terrible example for Roy to bring up to defend Dak.

According to Pro Football Reference the 2012 Ravens was 13th in scoring defense allowing 21.5 PPG.I think he was a good example for his career. Did he have an outstanding playoff run. Yes
They were after all only 10-6 that year and got hot in the playoffs. We’ve seen this happen before.
And while the defense was only 17th overall that year they were 7th in scoring defense, a stat you like.
The problem I have with Dak is he himself doesn't perform well. Those handful of games where the defense shows up Dak doesn't play like hes playing against the Giants. His accuracy is evident when he is in the RedZone when the field is compressed and there is more traffic. You can see him at times holding the ball too long because his guy doesn't have a full 3 steps on the defender. This team is stuck in the mud with him at QB. Romo had more talent but he was just too reckless and didn't handle the pressure well. If you don't have a QB with pedigree you don't have a chance against top tier competition. Aside from an occasional outlier but even those guys had the ability to make all the throws. Dak will never thread the needle and throw strike for a TD in the middle of traffic. And Romo wouldn't either. Eli did though! The Cowboys don’t do well against the better teams. Mainly because we aren’t as good of team. It was the same issues in Romo era on the most part. And both QB’s basically propped up a dysfunctional organization , defense and poor coaching.
We’ve been a team under these QB’s where they and the offense carry as far as they can. Could we have gone further with a Rodgers or Mahomes. Probably but that wasn’t in the cards. Unfortunately those type of QB’s don’t grow on trees.
This is what our dysfunctional ownership has dealt us. We’ve seen what we are without Dak and Romo. A 4-6 win team.
