Hard Knocks is showing what is important to the franchise

You’re missing my point.
Go ahead and explain it better then. Your point is that Jerry loves this because it is exposure. That's true. But so does every other owner in professional sports, so it's an irrelevant complaint.

And save me the "If you don't get it now, you never will."

I don’t recall saying Jethro loves it.

I said HBO loves it.

That's what this is
Yea but that’s after the fact.

My point is that HBO embraces the Cowboys like no other team. My response had nothing to do with our owner. You read more into that than I intended.

The entire response was about the owner lol

That was not the intention . You took it out of context.

You said all owners basically would embrace the Hard Knocks the same . I don’t agree and provided an example with NY.

Lol no I didn't. I posted about the owners, you answered about the owners.

To say it wasn't a post about the owners is ridiculous.

I don't think promoting ones team lessens the importance of winning. Last time I looked we have forked over some big bucks to key players with the intentions of trying to win. Trying to claim that if you promote your team somehow proves that is all the team is interested in is a joke

You know, Hard Knocks seems like a serious distraction to the point that it affects the team during the season. Teams should get performance compensation for it, like a team that is featured on Hard Knocks gets $5 million more in cap space that season. That might make up for it some and make teams actually have a better chance in the season... just look at how teams perform in the same season they're on Hard Knocks. You could remove the "can't refuse" clause because most teams would jump at the chance for a slightly higher cap than all the other teams for a season. I'm sure some analytics guru could figure out what an equitable cap bonus that would be fair.

I'd settle for one less penalty a year called on us in a key moment, that has never been called before against any team in recent memory.

Its new to the rooks coming in, and its a distraction.
Was liking the early week of OTAs and extra HOF game, so Hard Knocks is part of the deal and probably why the Cowboys were targeted. That extra week means a lot for production.
It might be a distraction to the rooks, but they will get used to it. The Dallas Cowboys are a distraction since everyone follows them. They are the top dawg of the limelight. Rookies will get used to it. Better sooner than later. I see it as a motivation to showcase your skills. Get your name out there right away. If any player can't handle that, they don't belong here. Same goes to fans. WE'RE THE DALLAS COWBOYS! The top attraction by the media. ;)

You just want some Cowboys.. :D and Im right there with you and the rest of Amreica, they will be watching even when they say they dont care.
Its a brand, the STAR draws focus, to all fans everywhere, haters, lovers, laughers and weepers,,, we are the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry loves his Cowboys.

How could anyone need hard knocks to tell them what is wrong with the Cowboys by this point?

Anyone that still does not know that Jerry Jones is a camera loving diva that uses this franchise as his personal attention getter is an idiot anyway.

Maybe the show is meant to show what is right with the Cowboys, going into this season. Why does it need to be focused on negatives.
Oh, because that is how most on here are. However, the less we see Jerry, the better.

Yah Hard Knocks will be the reason the cowboys are terrible this season lol. Not their all time bad defense or anything like that.

And it will only be around pre-season. There will still be a 17 game regular season to play after Hard Knocks.

Jerruh, "Hard Knocks" is the path to success........get er done Jerruh !!!!!111

I got to shake Jerrys hand once at a game in Denver, nobody else was paying attention and I had just stood up to grab a beer or dog,, cant remember doesnt matter, but as I walked up the aisle I saw Jerry and his crew, and he made eye to eye with me because Im in Denver wearing Cowboys Blue,, so it was cool and Jerry stopped and his boys all stared right at me as Jerry reached out for a fist bump and he was gone like flash gordon.
Everyone noticed at that point and it was amazing how fast he was gone,, like he disappeared... lol cool moment though
I touched me some Jerry

Hope we get another glorious segment similar to 2008 with fan boy Stephen foaming at the mouth over the Pac Man vs TO training camp battles.

really cringe worthy stuff from Stevie. Yeah, Dumb and Dumber really know how to build a Championship roster.

can’t wait for Hard Knocks, and Go Cowboys!
