I'm not sure if the 911 call has been posted on this thread, or if that would be okay to post here but if that's any indication he is probably being held without bail for his own safety for a short time because the 911 call said he was threatening to kill himself.

Wow, really? It said they took him to the hospital for what I assumed were injuries but if this were true maybe they took him there for a psych eval first.

I just put up 2 minutes of the 911 call from his wife. It's kinda brutal so I get if it's deleted by mods. But yeah that could explain being held without bail if he was suicidal.

On the eval I meant they could have had him assessed for a possible 5150 psych hold.

I feel terrible for his family.
What a terrifying situation to be in.

I feel bad that he felt the need to put himself in such a bad situation.
I wonder what is going on in his personal life?

I mean, I wonder, but I don't want to be a snoop. I'm not deserving to be privy to his personal life.

Well I disagree. Circumstances matter. If a woman has been beaten for 10 years and finally has had enough and tells a lie just to get the guy arrested and make her safe then I totally understand that. If you don't? Well enough said.

Lol. Ok. So we are good with lying to police and potentially getting someone shot for a past issue now. Perfect

If the guy has done it for 10 years, you probably don't have to wait 20 years for the next one and can plan accordingly rather than falsifying a report and Risk being proven a liar.

What exactly did you swear an oath to uphold anyway?

On the recording you can hear his wife say, "he got out."

Also from Rockport

Yeah, there's always 2 sides to the story.

Except when it comes to the Cowboys, then he only has tolerance for one side.

Crime = nuanced

Sport fan = binary

I think this tells us all we need to know. Enough said

Also, quite rude.
I've been at a few 911 dispatch centers in a couple of cities for research purposes for several days and it's actually very prevalent as the dispatchers get so many crap calls every single hour that they get numb to the real calls.

It's awful, but it's human nature unfortunately.
