This was the weirdest signing I've seen around here in awhile. Came in the first time without getting a deal done...goes to other teams just for months later to be brought up out of nowhere....then we hear they like him and he's in Dallas but no done deal. This the first time I saw a player show up to camp and be signed all at the same time....I mean even Risen hasn't made a post about it lol.

No issue with adding depth to a starving position, and the extent of his injury will now be revealed soon.
Dallas knows already what their plan is, so either on the field or on IR till he can contribute.
Outside of a trade or wait for league roster cuts, not many alternatives on the street that would make more sense than signing Hooker.
Hope he can get active asap.
