I totally disagree. His technique sucks. He come at the equipment with straight arms and upright. He comes through swinging his arms around like an idiot. He does this to make himself appear so violent. It’s buffoonish. His leg is fine!!! They would not start him 16 games and pay him 60 million if it wasn’t.
Okay disagree...I don't care what you refuse to see. Like I said...you don't have to use this goofy sled drill. Look at "highlights". He won't plant and drive. The one time he jumped to block a pass he wouldn't land on it.

You don't understand the ridiculous notion that they wouldn't keep him hurt but...would...with "terrible technique".
A stud college lber, and a starting NFL lber for the Dallas cowboys....has bad technique?

come on man. Just come on.

Just look at the lack of technique. He doesn’t square up to the sled. He hits it with arms extended. It’s not his legs. It’s 100pct technique.

All you Jaylon has a bad leg types, do you really believe that Dallas starts someone who is handicapped and pays him 60 million dollars? Really?

Obviously they didn't *know* Jaylon had regressed when he and his agent came to them with a sweet hometown discount.

Bet Jaylon and his agent knew.

As other people have pointed out here, and I've pointed out for years now, Jaylon's "technique" problems are probably just "compensating for bum leg" problems.

The guy does no work. That’s obvious. He rarely is in position. He overtly avoids contact. He takes bad angles to avoid contact. He has been on a downward slide since 2018. No one was crying about his leg then. The biggest issue now is that he doesn’t put in the work and can’t get by on sheer athleticism like he did in college.

So the Dallas hierarchy and training staff missed this?

Certainly looks that way, don't it?

Jaylon offered the deal after a very good 2018 season. It looked like Jaylon would be great, and expectations were that his leg would only keep improving, and therefore his play. That was a reasonable conclusion at the time. No one talked about his leg potentially regressing.

I was already seeing a slight hitch in his gait early in 2019 games. Slight. But it just kept getting worse, along with his play.

They had reasonable expectations and the leg disagreed. It is what it is.

The question is how did jaylon go from a man possessed in 18 to a scrub.

They just drafted Parsons and Cox, were apparently shopping Jaylon at the draft, and his cap hit makes sense if we cut him after this year. Let's not act like the cowboys don't know he's an issue.

If he played like he did last year in 2018, no way they extend him. But they did, and I'm sure they've regretted since. With Lee and LVE being just as injury prone, they've been unable to take him off the field.

He is trying to avoid the workout warrior image and does not want to be remembered as a sled molester

So you think he does....all that...because of "bad technique ". Does not make any sense.

Now...what does make sense...is he does all that hiding a devastating injury....the cowboys must also hide to save face...like you know Jerry does.

Come on dude.....you bad technique thing is way worse an excuse than horrifying injury.

He has the poor technique because of the injury...not coaching or vanity. Think it through and find the most logical reason. Not something that suits your feelings.
