I'm on Dak's side but are you going to say "zeke is 2-3?"... Remember, Dak was historic and if it wasn't for a terrible defense he doesn't lose but a few games all season if healthy..
To even assume Dak doesn't do enough to win close games is conveniently forgetting just how many he helps win. I think the idea of of the word "TEAM" eludes some of the zoners vocab.

That’s actually BS. The only history he was set on making was padding stats in losses. His performance in the fourth quarter when down by 7 or less was complete garbage. 0 TDs and 1 INT, with a less than 5 YPC, with like a 50 QBR. The situational stats are there for anybody to see. Dak was doing ZERO to help teams win close games. In fact, he was a major reason why they were down in the first place.

In fact, even Andy Dalton’s situational stats were better than Dak’s with worse pass protection, including no Zach Martin, and he at least threw a TD. His QBR during that time was 20 pointer better than Dak, better completing percentage and he had a better YPC and that was in an offense tailored after the bye to get the ball out quickly, because of zero pass protection.

So missing Dak was the only reason the 2020 season was bad and not because over half the starters were on IR? The season didn't end the moment Dak went down. In fact it was already well on the way to ending before that.
Stop it. It just shows he carries the team. Because we still would’ve probably won the division

They do not care the team was 1-3 with Dak and 5-5 with Dalton. They only care Dak's stats looked good in losses, outcome be damned.

So I guess the it's Dak's fault that the defense didn't do their job in stopping anyone.

What other excuses do people come up with these days...

Dak had his best year stat wise in an 8 win season. Followed that up with great stats in a 1-3 start.

For this team to win, with how they spent resources it's not on the arm of Dak. With all the resources they spent on offense he still struggles. Zeke or rb in general is the bigger key to success, especially in keeping this defense off the field.

Rims 2018, saints 2019. We haven’t played that many teams with running records. Neither have any other teams. Usually don’t get there until the playoffs. And that takes a team not a quarterback

2018, saints, 2019, rams . Usually don’t get to play a winning team until the end of the season or the playoffs. And that takes a team not a quarterback. Anything else . You need to know about football just ask

2-3 with an easy schedule? No way. Cowboys win 10 games easy and make the playoffs.

Dak's arm is sore from carrying his slosh bucket backups. Wouldn't be surprised if McCarthy told Dak to take a day or two off.
would be surprising if Dak is actually out for 2 weeks, but if he is than it needed to be done.
Better now than later.

I partially agree. I think the key to winning is a balance attack.

Dak has not struggled in the last 4 starts. In fact, he was the only bright spot on the team when he went down.

Dalton's success came when our defense started to click. He really do much of anything.
