Sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feelers. Interpret it however you want. I have zero remorse hating on the Eagles or their closet fans over here.
Wentz isn't an Eagle though. Hate on the Eagles all you want, but never take joy in a player being injured.

Wow, that's an emotional response. Do you hate the Colts that's much or are you still torment by what he did as an Eagle to your Cowboys? As a Cowboys fan, I'm not emotionally scared that way so I'm just curious what provoked such a reaction from you?

The suck it was for Risen and all the noise he talked calling Dak a career back up while Wentz was "the next Brady." I don't hate Wentz, but I dont want Philly to get a conditional first either. Simple.

It's not personal and I didn't wish it on him. It happened though, and I hope he's out long enough to screw up their conditional pick. The only personal part to my post was directed at his slobber boys who reside here. Be aware, I will hate on all of our Divisional rivals as the season goes along.

To conclude Dak > Wentz.

I mean, okay, I get it, but all those other guys being bad doesn't excuse Dak being bad. He's the QB of my favorite football, so Kyler Murray being 3-11 doesn't concern me as much as Dak being 13-20 because Kyler Murray doesn't play for the Dallas Cowboys.
its not an excuse....its just putting things in context and perspective. its like saying a QB completion percentage is 62%....is that good or bad? how does it compare to the rest? why is that good or bad? putting context is important.....measuring things in a vaccum in the NFL is not a good approach.

That's not what you do....For instance, you use stats from 2017-2020 to try and make your point that he's somehow gotten "worse" even though we all know who pay attention that he got hurt last year and 2017 was his worst year of his career. You picking certain stats to tell a narrative that isn't correct.

LOL...So you accuse me of using only stats from 2017-2020 yet I just compared the trend from 2016 and the trend thereafter from 2017-2020. However, you excuse 2017 as his worst year of his career and 2020 because he got hurt......so with only 4-1/3 years of play to analyze do you just want to focus on 2016 and 2019? Come on man, you can do better than that.

Why is it that when I show Dak's career stats showing a decline in proficiency you feel the need to negate basic stats? The issue is some of you have some sort of distorted emotional investment in Dak as opposed to being able to view this team and its players from an unemotional critical perspective.

You are shocked that on a Cowboys message forum that people have emotional investment in a Cowboys player? And you don’t? You aren’t emotionally invested in anyone on this team?
