That's not "a step back".

That's actually "being smart"!

Dak wasn't scheduled to play at the HOF game this 1st preseason game anyway, so let's stop making something more than it should be. Coach McCarthy is doing the smart thing to make Dak sit out and keep rehabbing that shoulder muscle strain right now that time permits. This way Dak gets the time he needs to fully heal in order to prevent a reinjury during the regular season when it truly matters and Dak certainly will be needed.

I just don't get what they are trying to say when they crap on every QB that has played the game to make Dak seem better than he is.

I'll root for Dak to get healthy, but that's it until I see some fruit on that tree.

He fooled JJ into the dumbest contract I have ever seen, so I hope he does not try and fool us fans.
No one should be happy by any player's injury and that included every NFL player.
Simply uncalled for and inhumane.....
Jerry got took to the cleaners BIG TIME and the injury bug is just the cherry on the cake!

Its because those fools believe “Dak Haters” were only formed bc he took over for Tony

Not the fact that he is an average QB masquerading as a Franchise Guy and only shows up against horrible teams

Well, there is nothing that we as fans can do about that because Dak is here to stay. All we can do is root for the guy to try and win us some games.

What is your point in crapping on Romo? This is a Dak thread. This post is actually the 2nd post crapping on Romo. Does that make your little brain happy, huh. Anyone loving Quincy Carter tells me tons.
When someone hates on a former Cowboys QB to try and take heat off a current Cowboys QB that, my friend, is what you call a Dak fan, not to be confused in any way with a Cowboys fan.

Is him sitting out preseason games really a conservative approach though?

I would think they would absolutely want him to get live action to get himself ready for the season. So missing the first preseason game is one thing, but if this stretches into a couple and him still not practicing, that would raise big red flags.

It's not even the not playing in the game that has me intrigued. It's the fact that they felt the need to come out today and say they are going to be even more conservative with him. Given the franchise's bad track record of reporting/covering up injuries, the fact they felt they had to say this today tells me that there may be more concern here than they are letting on.

I know...it's sad. See, I don't mind the Dak crowd propping up there man, but to stoop as low as to make fun of one of our own that tried his arse off, broke his ribs, punctured his lung, broke a collar bone to try and win us Cowboy fans a ring...they still laugh and make joke and fun of the poor bastid. But, consider the source, that all you need to do.

The Dak homers next excuse will be he didn’t get enough playing time in preseason. Hold on….they have built in excuses for the great one every time he stumbles.
Nope. Excuses, personal attacks, whining and crying to the mods to perma-ban posters who critiqued Romo is what you Romosexual crybabies did for 10+ years.
