Big failure by the GM

Before trying to bring in a backup QB, need to bring in someone who knows how to bring in an NFL back up QB.

They did pretty good last year. Same coaches.

This is a loser's way of thinking. Of course it does not matter at this point. But how about all offseason? They did nothing. They actually watched these 3 last year and brought them all back. None of these 3 should be back. Especially Cooper and DiNucci. DiNucci is one of the worst QBs I have ever seen in my life. All we needed was a QB with one ounce of talent to beat Philly last year on the road but nope. And he's back??!!

Cooper Rush has been here now 4 complete seasons and he has not improved at all.

I get it, most teams when their starter goes down to end the season, they won't fare well. But at least give yourself a chance and upgrade when you can.

But par for the course for this front office. They are clueless as usual.

Well— Dak was on pace for over 6000 yards minus the two tackles— so Dalton was— well, not on pace for that lol

Dak was also on pace the lead the NFL in turnovers.

You can easily go back and see for yourself what I said.

The QB play last night was nothing less than atrocious. How the team could be this far in to training camp with these backup QB’s and think that they could play is mind boggling. They’ve seen them every OTA, mini-camp and every day in training camp. Really disappointed they haven’t gotten a decent backup from day one so that he could get acclimated with the offense. They better get off their rear ends fast and bring someone in because if Dak goes down for a few games, we ain’t winning squat.

Jerry balked on paying dak that massive deal , but the political correctness mob went on the offensive ... ""you need to sign dak to 40-44 mil a year jerry . he is worth it jerry blah blah"" all the talking heads and supposed experts kept saying he is being cheap and that Stephen is a bean counter , jerry goes on and signs him, virtually crippling the team , and now he and stephen are the villains. The dak deal means the most expensive franchise on earth is at the whim of Dak and his health or lack of . Not much money left to get any QB of value, Many on this board were for the Dak signing at any cost.

As with every year, I feel like numerous QBs will come available after final cuts.

But none of them will have the benefit of a full offseason and TC playing with us and learning our playbook so none will be able to step in and play if needed.

Yeah I agree. I think Gilbert isn't that bad if he just has to stand in a few weeks. He's just not very good inside the redzone. I would have loved it if the Cowboys got Minshew as backup. That's at least a decent backup.

Well maybe they can pull a trade for a decent backup. We’ve got great depth at the WR position.
