The QB play last night was nothing less than atrocious. How the team could be this far in to training camp with these backup QB’s and think that they could play is mind boggling. They’ve seen them every OTA, mini-camp and every day in training camp. Really disappointed they haven’t gotten a decent backup from day one so that he could get acclimated with the offense. They better get off their rear ends fast and bring someone in because if Dak goes down for a few games, we ain’t winning squat.

This has ALWAYS been a breakdown with Jerry on his methodology. Whenever he has a franchise QB, its like he stops looking for QB's that can be great and only looks for guys that have the potential to be backups. Seems to do that with 3rd RB as well.

Not true. He signed Dalton last year.

Like when he had Romo and drafted Dak?

Ehh…unfair to judge him for his rookie season. He had no business on the field. I’m not a fan of the guy but he’s being unfairly criticized…..
I don't think the criticism is unfair. He has played badly up to this point, so it is up to him to take the criticism, man up and prove he is better than what he has shown.
As long as the coaches are giving him a shot, he better use that as his opportunity. But no, he has not shown anything that represents an NFL QB. Would love for him to prove me wrong, but until then he will need thick skin.

Romo was on his last legs by then. Literally.

We should be drafting and developing starting caliber franchise QB's all the time. Like for me, Denucci and Rush arent capable of becoming quality starters so I wouldnt waste my time. I would move on.

But have we put him in position to succeed? Knowing he was raw and a 7th round pick? We can’t gauge him like a 1st rounder…

And Dak doing what he did was like hitting on the Mega millions jackpot

I do think I’m the hypothetical scenario where Dak gets injured we could persuade Rivers but DiNucci and Rush aren’t developmental QB’s. I think our no.1 priority when final cut downs occurs is to find a QB to develop. Snap up the best QB that gets earmarked for a teams PS.

I don’t expect amazing performances but the side arm technique, lack of size, and poor pocket presence…what is he good at? He’s just not got the traits you’d want a developmental QB.

A lot of this is moot. Commanders win the division and we battle the giants for 2nd place. Thank God the Eagles May be the worst team in the NFC

The biggest upside Is not being able to finish 8-8 anymore. Should be a good battle for 2nd though
