How good should they look playing with practice squad players?
That's right, all he needs is first stringers around him, then he will prove how good he... Oh wait

The QB play last night was nothing less than atrocious. How the team could be this far in to training camp with these backup QB’s and think that they could play is mind boggling. They’ve seen them every OTA, mini-camp and every day in training camp. Really disappointed they haven’t gotten a decent backup from day one so that he could get acclimated with the offense. They better get off their rear ends fast and bring someone in because if Dak goes down for a few games, we ain’t winning squat.
Not true. He signed Dalton last year. This has ALWAYS been a breakdown with Jerry on his methodology. Whenever he has a franchise QB, its like he stops looking for QB's that can be great and only looks for guys that have the potential to be backups. Seems to do that with 3rd RB as well.

you couldnt get Lawrence. But anyway Dak is a hell of a QBShould have traded up for Lawrence or Fields and let Dak walk.

Ehh…unfair to judge him for his rookie season. He had no business on the field. I’m not a fan of the guy but he’s being unfairly criticized…..That's right, all he needs is first stringers around him, then he will prove how good he... Oh wait
Mac Jones, anyone?Didn't need to trade up for Fields. He was there at 10.
And hell yes I would take him over Prescott.

I don't think the criticism is unfair. He has played badly up to this point, so it is up to him to take the criticism, man up and prove he is better than what he has shown.Ehh…unfair to judge him for his rookie season. Like when he had Romo and drafted Dak?
Raise your hand if you're tired of these negative threads from Rockport.
But have we put him in position to succeed? Knowing he was raw and a 7th round pick? We can’t gauge him like a 1st rounder…I don't think the criticism is unfair. He has played badly up to this point, so it is up to him to take the criticism, man up and prove he is better than what he has shown.
As long as the coaches are giving him a shot, he better use that as his opportunity. But no, he has not shown anything that represents an NFL QB. Would love for him to prove me wrong, but until then he will need thick skin.
And Dak doing what he did was like hitting on the Mega millions jackpotRomo was on his last legs by then. Literally.
We should be drafting and developing starting caliber franchise QB's all the time. Like for me, Denucci and Rush arent capable of becoming quality starters so I wouldnt waste my time. I would move on.

Last season was a disaster all aroundAfter the wreckage to the Oline, it was a wash.
