What, if anything, would you do or give up for a SB win?

They won 5 of those and that did not improve my life one bit. That first one, we got rid of that "always a bridesmaid and never a bride" label but even that was short lived because there is always another season coming up after this one. I thought it would be different, I would feel different but I didn't. I was happy and pumped for a couple of hours but that did not last.

I have never felt as strongly about any Cowboys team, including every one that went to those 8 super bowls, as I did that day watching them on the field in Green Bay playing in conditions we wouldn't even go out in. I have never equaled that sense of pride in a team as that day, including 5 super bowls. That game, that team, served as an inspiration to me when I've been up against it in my real life. It is how the game is played to me that really is important, as corny as that may sound.

Fight hard, leave it all on the field and I don't care if they ever win another super bowl. I would like to see our younger fans get one since they've not had that experience but for me, it is not necessary. They won me over with a loss and not many can say that.

You can't fool me you vegan teetotaler. No man in his right mind would give that up. I would need a complete harem to do something like that.
 
I promised to treat my future wife like a queen if she'd marry me. She released me from that promise on our fifth wedding anniversary because I never broke that promise. 23 years now and still going. strong.

We all know Jerry Jones made a deal with the devil for those 3 championships so I don't expect another until Jerry passes. I am afraid none of us can give up anything to intervene in that deal.
 
pick any game on the schedule as a matter of fact pick two of them

and i'd be willing to sacrifice a 77-0 loss if it meant getting a superbowl in return

in my personal life? i'd give up fried food and sodas for one year and chitterlings
 
26 years of frustration, embarrassment and disappointment as a football fan. That's what I would be giving up.

It would be difficult. They have been with me for over a quarter century. It's a "Patty Hearst Syndrome" kind of thing. I've been conditioned to believe that winning the division is an accomplishment to cherish forever.

I'm programmed now to be proud of Jerry Jones's stadium as if being the largest football stadium is a fitting substitute for being the greatest team. Other fans are thrilled when their team wins a championship, I brag about the owner of my team making the most money.

I would have to find a way to fill the hole created by the departure of frustration, embarrassment and disappointment. I suppose I could give pride, enjoyment, and inspiration a try. I seem to remember it felt really good.......before I was unwillingly forced to give those up 26 long years ago.

Nothing, I've already sacrificed enough of my time.

They will, they won't. I'm not giving anything more up.
