You may recall, if you were on the fan side where a lot of us like StarHart, Will, and catch22andstillcant would hang out, how there were always like 6 or 7 different posters who would routinely trash Romo. I remember a guy named Smashmouth (Or Smashy as we'd call him) in particular was a frequent one to rip Romo over and over. So, I know well what you're talking about.

If the next QB demands the highest contract in NFL history after accomplishing nothing, like Dak did, he too will get ripped. You can count on it. If this QB comes in and gets some playoff wins and maybe an NFCCG or 2, he won't get ripped. See where I'm going with this?

No one wants Dak to fail, and no one wants the team to lose. We just don't think Dak earned his contract and think he better start doing so. If he fails he won't be earning his contract, will he...

Well, I think what will help is if the defence doesn't play like the total dumpster fire it was last season and for Zeke to stop fumbling. I don't think that's too much to ask of the team. If Zeke stops fumbling, we can keep moving the ball and control the clock. Thus, the defence wouldn't have to be on the field as much. If the defence isn't a dumpster fire, we will be more easily able to hold onto leads because the defence isn't letting the other team just march down the field in critical situations. All I'm really asking, at least to start, from our defence is, on critical drives, make a stop. The Cowboys will be more successful because Dak can spread the ball more evenly, and Zeke can batter defences into a pulp.

Oh, I agree. I'd like for Dak to not fumble either, but let's not act like it was all Dak is what i'm saying with that. Unless you count Dak's injury, Dak's not the reason we went 6-10 last year. The ENTIRE team needs to step up.

So I was at my fantasy draft last night and one of the guys there swears up and down Dak will not be the same. He broke it down because he had the exact same injury as Dak and he mentioned inflammation as an issue for the remainder of his career as he too was never the same. We all ridiculed him stating he doesn’t have Dak access or money to the best trainers/medicine money can by but he continued to break things down show us pictures of his injury (which did look exactly like Daks).

I guess time will tell

Hehe, I should've clarified what I said with "among other factors". And Zeke did fumble more than usual last year. I'm not absolving Dak entirely of blame, I was just trying to provide context to show that everyone needs to step it up this year.
