Well, I think what will help is if the defence doesn't play like the total dumpster fire it was last season and for Zeke to stop fumbling. I don't think that's too much to ask of the team. If Zeke stops fumbling, we can keep moving the ball and control the clock. Thus, the defence wouldn't have to be on the field as much. If the defence isn't a dumpster fire, we will be more easily able to hold onto leads because the defence isn't letting the other team just march down the field in critical situations. All I'm really asking, at least to start, from our defence is, on critical drives, make a stop. The Cowboys will be more successful because Dak can spread the ball more evenly, and Zeke can batter defences into a pulp.
