The quarterback owned that game. And he arguably out-dueled the GOAT. The Football dunces who continue to try to bash him deserve to have their noses rubbed in it.

But most of them just go into hiding.

Yep. They go into hiding. And the minute Dak has a bad game. They’ll be out in full force for the entire week.

This is true. I have decided to try my hardest to not engage in Dak debates anymore. There’s nothing you can say to some of these folks to get them to change.

some of them absolutely 100% do not want to change and do not want Dak to succeed because they’re so dug in.

Some have natural skepticism. Which is fine. But for some. It’s a lost cause.
And some of them could care less if the team wins or loses as long as Dak has a good game.

I’ll add this.

To those that don’t like Dak.

Dak is 28 years old. Dak is in his prime.

barring injury or something wild. There’s like a 95% chance that Dak is going to be the starting QB for the next decade or so. so I would get used to it.

Remember that game against Denver when Peyton Manning was having his career year? Romo threw 5 tds but some here only remembered the pick he threw. Which came about because he was pressing

BECAUSE THE D COULD NOT FORCE EVEN ONE PUNT.

And the football dunces would try to pin that loss on him, showing they don’t understand what they’re talking about.

Sure.
1. He under threw CeeDee on the first drive. You would like for Lamb to still bail him out with a good catch but a better ball there and we are set up around the 20. Note: this does not excuse Lamb’s blatant drop on the very next pay.
2. He took a bad sack putting us in bad down and distance in a drive which ultimately took us out of FG range.
3. He missed a wide open receiver in the middle of the end zone inside the 5, throwing to Zeke out wide. The ball was late and high preventing what probably should have been an easy TD.

These things also contribute to us coming up short and are two of the things haters have complained about…accuracy and red zone efficiency (and ignoring the middle of the field inside the 10).

I get Dak played a great game. I even made a thread saying he carried the team, but there are some legit criticisms too.

As there would be for ANY QUARTERBACK IN ANY GAME. It’s why a 100 % completion day doesn’t happen.

But put it his game on a balance sheet and the pro’s crush the con’s.

Whatever. I don’t give any of them any credibility at this point and don’t even bother reading any threads they start. It’s clearly just a desperate cry for some measure of attention that they can’t get in the real world.

If I don’t find anything they say credible, I’m not wasting my time reading it. It’s spam.

Honestly I try to also look at the situation, and think about trying to replace him.

I’ll say this. I actually agree that as of right now. Dak isn’t as efficient in the red zone as I would like. And he needs to continue to improve that part of his game.

but for those that believe that, and want Dak gone. I would posit this question:

If you got rid of Dak. What are the odds that the next QB you draft will be better than he is right now?

And are those odds better or worse than the odds of Dak improving his redzone efficiency, while maintaining the rest of his game?

Some people around here act like QB’s grow on trees. It’s almost like they don’t watch the rest of the NFL and watch some teams struggle for
Decades to find a good one. Like they don’t want the draft and see 2,3,4,5 QB’s get drafted in the first round every year, and the majority of those QB’s are either washed out of the league entirely or relegated to being backups in a couple years.

I agree. I enjoy my experience on this board so much more since I decided to be mindful about not getting into back and forth about Dak.

I’ve been calling these guys trolls all year and I get met with criticism. These guys have been here all summer long terrorizing members on this site and now they are ghost? Why? Cowboys lost right? They don’t seem to care about that. It was all about whether or not Dak looked good so they could gloat. I expect nothing from these guys they are showing me exactly who they are. Trolls.
LMAO Stop the drama queen stuff or hide under your bed, too funny, Your buddy is trolling yet again , you know it go ahead and say it. Didn't need a Dak love post, everyone can see he had a very good game but garbage like this just sets up the other side when he has one of his miserable games. He's a Dak troll, call him out you can do it. Go hide again and calm down no reason to be scared.

His passes were crisp, his passes were accurate, his passes were long or short or what ever the situation called for. He shred the Super Bowl champions for over a 70% completion % and 403 yards. He’s not getting the respect he deserves. I understand from the haters like Smear, Army dude, CL, Va and others but he out dueled the GOAT. Haters will say “but he lost”. Well he didn’t lose. Special teams lost. Lambs 3 dropped passes lost. Special Teams allowing a short field for Brady lost. THE OFFENSE DIDNT LOSE!!
biggest mistake was using the word Permanent. Nothing ever is forever or permanent..

Redzone Rocky, have you any stats on Dak's Redzone performance?;)
Unfortunately it was more of the same. We will never be a serious contender until he's better in the red zone. If you look at the numbers for any season since Dak came into the league they are what they are. The elite guys are at the top in red zone TD's and Dak is middle of the pack. Against the Bucs we were 1-4 and they were 3-5 in red zone efficiency, and the Bucs didn't even try to score a TD on the last one so they were 3-4 when it counted. Even with the kicking woes that was the difference in the game. We are going to be middle of the pack - yes with lots of yards on offense - until red zone efficiency improves.

Who has Dak quieted? He's still losing games. Are we watching games to see wins or to see how many yards and/or TD's Dak can add to his portfolio? You know, all those empty stats that look good for no one else but Dak.

Is the team we watch the Dallas Cowboys or the Daktown Cowboys?

I'm glad you are enjoying the loss...... I knew some of you would get a kick out of it.....

It seems the only people who are happy with the loss are those who only watch to see how much Dak can add to his statistical repertoire. "The Cowboys lost another game? So what... Dak threw for 400 yards and 3 TD's. Win or lose, we don't care as long as Dak gets his stats".

Those ‘homers’ will still have four years-plus worth of stats to clobber the dummies. As they have for years.

so let me get this straight,

there are 16 winners and 16 losers weekly , and during all these games Vegas uses lines for betting everything from these games including stats are compiled in real time and then posted for historical value and all stats are then used to choose who wins awards , who gets into the HOF , ROH, and other spirts related ceremonies.

so unless your team wins sb and only one per year or wins the games we aren't allowed to bring up stats?

so stats don't matter, ever?

so great players on bad teams are failures because somehow they couldn't overcome their TEAM situations ? how are we supposed to judge great players on bad teams? stats we use stats to make comps for the other great players around the league..

if stats didn't matter, they wouldn't use them, they seem pretty important since all sports teams from pop warner to Pro sports, not just football, compile them and they are saved FOREVER..

why is this explain how we as fans are supposed to use stats and why we aren't allowed to use them to see how they stack up against the competition. i mean isnt that what they are technically there fore..to compare PLAYERs, Individual's.. when arguing player vs player comps, what exactly are we supposed to use outside of an opinion or eye test, its called stat lines..

its is the main determining factor in comparing players and groups from team ie team rankings..

yes the stat that matters is Wins and losses and who left standing as best TEAM..

we arent just discussing teams here and yet when stats are brought up people take it personally but look around at some really stupid threads like players dogs, kids, weight, hair styles, nose rings, fashion, criminal activity, suspensions, the way they talk, blink, smack their lips, where they hang out, what they eat, where they vacation, what their cars look like, shoe contracts, etc etc etc etc

so that crap is allowed and actual using stats to debate players is now unacceptable?

Id say id like to vote out all that idiotic non football related threads and talk more stats..stats are sports, thats a fact..
