But, it's an obvious penalty. You can not remove your helmet on the playing field. Not only did he do it, he slammed it to the ground so the refs can make sure they saw it. Over reaction my ***. Why have the rule if you don't enforce it? That would have been a huge 1st down for us in the red zone.
see the above post. I'm right and you're wrong. Move it along now, chaps.

that would have been a terrible ticky tack flag if they had called that against David giving us free points. just as stupid as the call against Brice Butler in 2016 against Green Gay. I hate double standards, but ticky tack flags aren't the answer.

Clear cut violations of the rules are not ticky tack flags. If a guy rips his helmet off, it better be called, until the whole NFL realizes how stupid the rule is and removes the rule. Selective enforcement is the problem.

Brady threw it away three times to waste time. He was in the pocket. The passes were to nowhere near a wide receiver. They were not spikes to kill the clock. That's intentional grounding. Did they get rid of the grounding penalty altogether and I just don't know about it?

You're only allowed to do what he did out of the pocket.
You are not telling the truth about everything. Brady did what any QB can do. There are no special rules for him. He was throwing over his receiver's head. Inaccuracy is not a penalty, even when it is on purpose. Now stop crying.

I'm much more pissed off about the selective enforcement of OPI at the end of tight ball games. I got banned for a day from this website for cursing about this. Worth. Every. Bleeping-god-bleeping-damn Minute.

Right... unless the Cowboys can dominate a strong opponent by doubling the points they give up, they are not going to win. The refs will see to that. I am livid about it as well, but at least Brady needed the refs to look the other way on OPI AND on intentional grounding to win it. Cowboys were good enough to beat the Bucs, just not good enough to beat the Bucs and the refs.
