Nobody says run zeke 50 times , the op is saying passing 50 times is a recipe for disaster, because the facts say so .

If kellen had more common sense , he would have a better pass-to-run ratio .

I will say this...I did not like the gameplan to the fact he did not even try and make that D-line stop things. Its not always the run pass ratio as much as what are you making the defense deal with each play....Like KM how bout a middle screen when the other teams DT's are mack trucking your middle every play. Make them read the play not just leave them there to kill us. Again I dont love 50+ passes but in that game the alternative was we lose by 20 trying to move that line.

I don't understand what the fans want to see better with the offense. If anything, all eyes should be on defense and special teams. Do these fans not realize that NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT GAME, WE WERE LEADING (WINNING) THE GAME WITH 1:24 REMAINING?

Do you not care about what the defense or special teams does? Just wondering.

Welcome to my *** moments also.

Y'all don't get it.

Sometimes you have to pass that many times when the game dictates it, especially if you fail to be able to run the football effectively against your opponent.

Our Oline was unable to open holes for Zeke and Tony because of having to go up against the #1 ranked front 7 defense (SB Champs as well), so the Cowboys had no choice but to use their WR weapons and pass the ball 50+ times. Guess what? The Cowboys almost won...and actually should have won if it wasn't for mistakes by several key players, so that proves this theory wrong.

Had the Cowboys forced the run just to please the critics, they still would not have rushed for anywhere near 100 yards and most likely lost by a lot more than 2 points.
Dak did his part to win. The kicker and refs did the rest.

We didn't lose because Dak threw the ball 58 times. We lost because we were 1-4 in the redzone and the kicker missed FG's. The only reason that game was that close was because of the turnovers. Take those away and Tampa was on their way to hanging 50 on this team.

I don’t like Dak throwing that much either but I think says more about the defense than anything else

It was a stupid game plan to get into a shootout with Tampa. This team is weak on defense so your objective is to limit the amount of time your defense stays on the field. Which means a more ball controlled, clock chewing offense.

Maybe, but you can’t take the turnovers away. The defense forced 2 of those turnovers. Ignoring the turnovers is like someone saying I’d like broccoli if it wasn’t for the fact that I don’t like broccoli.

So did he not throw those yards? again I feel the same we have too many fans who care about the wrong stats also..I have a feeling we are blathering about diferent ones...Some only see the game when the offense is on the field apparently....Some have TV's that black out the defensive series....And its crazy Cowboy Fans on a Fan forum excited the QB had a good game...the nerve.. now if we could only get him back to 250 yards and 2 tds we wouldve won that game.

1. Not taking it away, just observing that barring those turnovers the defense was on it's way to giving up more points
2. The offense did nothing with what the defense gave them

It was a team loss. Frankly, I didn't understand the reasoning for getting into a track meet with Tampa instead of playing a more clock management game.

I’ll agree in part the second part I do believe that the gameplan was a good one as you aren’t running on Tampa

It worked if not for a kicker who sucked and a missed call

on to LA

What a bunch of baloney. And what about the points the Cowboys left on the field, along with the officials once again helping out Brady and whichever team he plays for?

Are you a Cowboys fan or some other team's fan, HB?

"sometimes".....

Is fine...but you went to the strawman argument. So you could argue your bias agenda.

HWELL NO we don't want Dak throwing 50 times every game. It was just shown to you it doesn't work for nfl teams let alone us.

Gawd...people...hate em.

That's what I said - the Cowboys went 1-4 in the redzone. Those are the points which they did not capitalize on when the defense gave them a chance. As for the refs, it's funny how the Cowboys are always being robbed by the refs, you'd think one of these days this team would actually play well enough to not leave it up to chance or a ref's 50/50 decision

In this ONE game...okay. But we do NOT want Dak throwing 50 times every game.

The odds are against us...proven by not just OUR record...but the NFL in general.

The only thing they care about is crapping on Dak who played one of the best games any QB could play.
