Can’t remember the last time I seen a Cowboys pass rusher turn on a second gear to get the sack. At that point if the game after that sack, I was basically aight with the outcome of the game. My uncle was watching the game with me(he’s not a Cowboys fan)and he’s got me by three generation and he looked at me and said y’all got an LT on your squad after that play. That play made him sit up out his recliner

I was thinking the same thing. There is only one LT and he’s the best ever IMO.

But the way Parsons is shot out of cannon reminds me of him.

Spot on!

Your uncle is so right. Micah Parsons does look like another LT. Yet, some people want to move him back to linebacker?

No way! Micah needs to stay where he's at...at DE and let him wreak havoc on opposing QBs!

If that costs D-Law or Gregory to have to move inside? Oh well, that's life. Micah definitely showed he has what it takes to become another Lawrence Taylor, and he needs to stay at DE!

The Cowboys need to move Parsons around so teams can’t game plan him. The Cowboys need to go to 3/4 defense. I can’t believe the Cowboys drafted a once in a generation linebacker at 12.:omg::eek:

Still not sure how that qualifies as a sack when the QB got rid of the ball before being taken down.

QB was in the grasp, thus the referee blew the play dead to protect the QB from being tackled hard and possibly getting injured. The NFL instilled the authority (with the NFLPA's blessings) for the officials to call plays dead when QBs are "in the grasp" in order to protect QBs.

Admittedly a BS call as the NFL has gone too far is making this a touch football game which impacts the outcomes of games.

Agreed. Still, had the refs not called the play dead and instead allowed the play to continue, it would have been "grounding" by Herbert since his pass did not reach the line of scrimmage and no Chargers WR was in the area. Either way, it worked out correctly.

Agreed but Chargers would have had 3rd & Goal on the Dallas 17 instead of 3rd & Goal on the Dallas 25 which may have changed things for the Chargers instead of them settling for a FG from the Dallas 11.

It’s a BS call for sure.

But I get it. In that grasp, if Parsons slams Herbert could’ve broke something and ended his season. He wasn’t going anywhere so I understand the call.

Crappy. But I understand the thinking. This wasn’t like the Dak play against the Rams where he escaped with Collins
