Derek Carr is very underrated. I was saying during the offseason to stop comparing Dak to Mahomes and Rodgers when you should really be comparing him to Cousins and Carr. I know you remember me saying this. So far I'm being proven right. Actually, Cousins and Carr are off to much better starts.

I agree. The reality is that Prescott, Carr and Cousins are all very similar performing QBs if they played with the same O-Line, wide receivers and running back. They are pretty much a wash. They are all good quarterbacks but not great. That's where the disconnect is between people - some are so offended that Prescott is in the same tier of QBs as Carr and Cousins when it's fine, they are all good. He just isn't in the same bracket as the likes of Brady, Rodgers or Mahomes - but then not many are.

It would be sad if a positive post about the Cowboys QB will piss some people off. But you’re right, it certainly will unfortunately.

The worse thing about Dak is his cult of fans. The desperate attempts to legitimize him as an elite QB is pathetic at best. To make matters worse, all of you are so sensitive, which makes it much easier and makes it much more enjoyable to point out his shortcomings. From 2019-2020, Derek Carr's 'accuracy %' is 79.67% whereas Dak's, in the same time frame, is 78.17%......and if you look at their stats from 2016-2021 Carr is equal to if not better than Dak in most stats.....so how is Carr 'good' and Dak 'elite'????? Also consider Dak has had a much better o-line, running back, and receiving weapons.
