I can't get on McCarthy for the clock situation at the end. The bigger screw up was giving up a 19 yard play on 3rd and 24. That essentially killed any chance of getting the ball back in good shape with time to score.

We were playing back to prevent the first down. That appeared to be our only concern at that point.

3rd and 24, 90 seconds left, two time outs, and McCarthy let's them burn the clock.

Soft as a baby's bottom. Weak. Don't tell me about his SB ring from 11 years ago. This is 2021, and that was lame.

The issue wasn't McCarthy not calling TO. The problem was giving up 19 yards on 3rd down. Playing soft there cost them a chance at points.
