Game Day ***Cowboys vs Panthers pre-game thread***

I see a low scoring game here. Yes Carolina has played the teams they’ve played but this is the NFL. To be ranked #1 in SIX defensive categories is very impressive. I just don’t see Dallas scoring at will like so many predict.

Woke up this morning and realized I know absolutely nothing about the Carolina Panthers. Think I know more about my hometown Permian Panthers.

Look at your dudes predictions lol. Y’all are way more overzealous and outlandish with your predictions. I’m starting early.

I do think both of these teams are on the upswing and will be mainstays in the playoffs over the next several years. I expect our paths to cross often moving forward. Good luck dudes.

It’s tough to judge. They are dominant.

But in retrospect …

Wilson has thrown 7 picks. The game he threw the least was Carolina.

Davis Mills is another rookie and the Texans have no weapons.

Winston hasn’t passed for more than 150 yards in a single game. Missing 8 coaches and multiple starters including Lattimore.

I think they are good. But our offense can do things those other three teams just cannot do. Not saying we dominate or they dominate. I just feel it’s like it’s when we were #1 defense in 2003

If this was the 90's I'd have an arrogant confidence facing this 3-0 team. That's what those teams did. Beat up on whoever was the flavor of the month.

we haven't seen them play this trap game yet. i mean this is a 3-0 team regardless of who they played. im sure our coaches and players are paying attention..no cheese..

im thinking the giants game will be that game playing down to an opponent coming in over confident especially if we win today...

No. I don't pretend every season is a new one with no knowledge of any of the players or coaches and their past. That's what fans of loser teams do.

I think this game is going to be a LOT closer and in doubt than folks here expect. Our defense looks good to people because it's not atrocious like last season but they can clearly still be exploited.

McCaffrey being out hurts them but I would still mix it up with misdirection and screens away from where Parsons lines up to a shifty WR. Can't make a bee line to a player when you have to fight thru traffic. I predict a close, close win.

you cant make an assessment that they have changed until they actually do..i said if they win today next week is that game they get tested to see how well they play against a team they are supposed to run out of the building..

like the jets games and others in 2019 down the stretch...

MM and DQ as DC coaches have not got to that point , that game yet to answer those questions..
