It was a horrific call and given our history (and Dan Quinn's) of collapsing, getting that call right would have added more time back to the clock and at the end they might have only needed a FG. Yes they did.. but IMHO the only thing that would have changed would have been how early the Cowboys took their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter. The Cowboys were blowing them off the ball in the run game.. The Panthers were going to get bludgeoned regardless of that call.

The guys who lose the game whine every week.. It is what it is.. They missed some against us.. and some for us.. On Darnold's second TD run their center absolutely fireman tosses our DT... No flag.. Yeah that's true.. but again, let's say they get that TO.. Does that stop us from hanging 3 TDs on them in the 3rd? I highly doubt it.

We'll never know. I'd just prefer that we didn't even make that play a talking point for the week. However, allowing them to come back to within 1 score will make that play a talking point for the week when it never had to be.
