We are going into week 8 of Gallimore's injury and still not word of him coming off IR. He had a dislocated elbow with no ligament of bone damage. 8 weeks seems like a long time.

I am expecting to get word soon that he will need season ending surgery to repair something in his elbow.

I think they are planning on returning a lot of guys after the bye week… they have so much roster juggling to do and they can avoid disrupting the work flow and routines of the players that are playing a ton of snaps right now

Pay attention to MM pressers. He said a week or two ago that Gallimore would be back after the bye week.

Had to be more to it....I had a RB dislocate his elbow, popped by into place and he never missed a game.

He hasn’t practiced in 8 weeks. It is a new system. I think a lot of the players have moved ahead of him. Going to be hard for him to catch up.

It wouldn’t even surprise me if Lawrence is back before Gallimore.

Not all elbows "pop back into place" the same. I have personally experienced exactly what you are talking about, I never missed a beat. On the other hand, my son dislocated his elbow during a basketball game. It popped right back into place and he finished the game, Then it swelled up like a balloon.

Gallimore is a Canada product...Texas built is more durable.

I like the way Dallas is working this IR system, and the players should be in really good shape when they get activated.

Slap on some skates and you might think twice about that durability point . :)

They said he hyperextended it, so while he may not have torn anything he could have some damage that needs time and exercise to heal. My guess is with the team playing well, and the bye week near, they want to give it plenty of time to fully heal. I imagine for any normal activity that people do every day he has no problem, but fighting with extremely large, extremely strong people for 4 quarters is a little different, so they want him fully ready for that without risking another injury.

You are always pessimistic about Gallimore which is why I ignore you when you talk about him.

My player had to have it popped back at the emergency room and it swelled up quite a bit. It happened 5 days before the next game. Wrapped it up and put a brace on it. Good to go.
