Somewhere around 9 years.
Ah, fair enough! I'll have to watch videos of him from then.
Somewhere around 9 years.
He was a very young corner when he got hurt. He came back strong, but it did affect his game.Oooh!! How long did he play here?
I saw him in person when played in high schoolHe seems like he was quick then. The first I remember watching was either 1999/2000
Oooh!! How long did he play here?
Actually he came back and played fairly well. Not the same as before but pretty good.He was boarder line all Pro until his injury.
He was done after that

He was a pass interference machine after the injury from what i recall, but it was a long time agoActually he came back and played fairly well. Not the same as before but pretty good.
It’s been too long ago for this 59 year old brain. LOL. He was just solid all the way around. That must've been quite the experience!
Hmm, is there a current DB here that you might compare him to?
Yep. He did get a few too many PIs after coming back, but he was still a solid cover corner. He was a pass interference machine after the injury from what i recall, but it was a long time ago
Kevin Smith the cb we are talking about?
Gave Jerry Rice fits before his ankle injuryHang on, I do sort of remember the name Kevin Smith now that you're mentioning it.

Definitely classy. I said it in another thread that I am really proud that he wears a star on his helmet and acted like that. No substitute for being a good person.Classy move by Kearse.
My 61 year old brain surprises me sometimes, hahaYes he did.

True for sureIt's great when players can see real life instead of a sporting event. Kearse's concern for another person's well being over something like a division rivalry speaks to his character. Sadly there are players out there on every team that wouldn't do that. No matter what, it speaks of Kearse's character and also reflects well on the Cowboys.
For a brief, simple moment, it was powerful in my opinion.
Rub it in, would ya!I just realized that in 18 years I will be 61. I wish time would hurry up and slow down.
