After the Bye I think you'll see:
Smith - McGovern - Biadazz - Martin - Collins

Biadazz is a developing player, he may look really solid in 2 months...same for McGovern at LG.

You really are clueless when it comes to talent evaluation, especially OL talent.

I am still laughing at what you would have traded for Ertz. Speaks volumes about you.
aha, sure thing.....you have another 98 guesses to go, so you have time. I am sure much like a blind squirl you will find another nut!

why you are not working in some NFL front office, is beyond me and instead wasting your time here on a message board with me...you should start sending in your resume.....you need 32 copies I believe.

When Collins comes back, he needs to replace the LG. Williams, like one poster already said, has too many penalties. Collins played LG for us when he was a rookie, and the way Steele has played has been phenomenal, especially for an UDRFA

Yes. Put the best 5 on the field and figure out their positions. Conner Williams is a huge liability. Get him off the field.

Anything to get Williams out of the lineup. He single handily almost cost us the game. He needs to be on the bench.

its not the best 5. its the best 5 for the position.....steele is not as good as williams as a guard. I don't want collins to play guard. he was so so when he played it. although he is stronger than williams.....and he is coming off hip surgery, and hasn't played guard in 4 years.....

Keep Steele at tackle. Collins was a better guard than tackle, put him back at LG and give McG a shot at center.

No Collins doesn't need to be LG, imo.

Why would you have a guy that hasn't played OG in years and thrust him at there immediatley when he returns
When he would have to be accustomed to stunts, games and twists up front and middle blitzes.
Re-Learn OG techniques, hand placement, footwork, be on rapport with the center and tackle, ...and at this point of the very active regular season ?

Just think of Steele as Jeremy Parnell 2.0
Doug Free breaks his leg, and we plug another undrafted FA (that we plucked from Saints PS) who had promising length and athleticism but needed extensive development.
And it's not the end of it even next year, as 4th rd pick Josh Ball could be the next project developing like Steele next.

Nice problem to have. I always worry about messing with the chemistry of the oline, especially when overall they are playing very well.

right and i see LC as the future LT so its god we have options at the RT if needed..

these threads make me laugh they somehow forget how good player was because of injury's or suspension..unless LC struggles he will get and keep his RT spot..

if change is coming at LG it will be McGovern..Cwill has been flagged far too many times and im sure the coaches are in discussions and will make change if they feel its needed.

I agree with u, if it aint broken dont fix it!!!!!
I would put lael elsewhere.
But knowing jerry, lael will be right back at RT unless lael and coaches say different.
I dont know what pos lael wants to play, but if he wants RT then thats probably where he will play.

Why has McGovern not taken his job yet?

Because in his limited play, he's not been that great either, I suspect the Cowboys don't want to mess up what continuity they have on the line at this point...

The only thing Collins has earned is a spot on the bench so he can watch someone who actually wants to be out there fighting for his team.

Collins is not the same player he was a few years ago. If ain't broke, don't fix it. Collins should have been more diligent with regard to his availability.
Collins looked fine against TB's strong edge rushers.

Steele has been solid and he has been aided by Dak's quick release and escapability and playing next to an all world RG, he is not as good as Collins.
