Eagles are Stockpiling 1st RD Draft Capital

Philly may have to package a couple of those picks to get a QB if they don’t feel Hurts is the answer. The draft is a crapshoot so no assurance they come up with quality players with those picks.

I think Dallas under MM is proof you can not win on 1st round picks alone. You gotta find gems in the later rounds…

The Eagles drafting sort of sucks. As much criticism as the Joneses receive and as much as Howie Roseman is considered to be a "genius" GM. The Cowboys have actually done better than the Eagles have done, when it comes to draft picks. The Eagles draft picks have been either hit or miss, with a lot of misses.

What in the world do you see in the Giants? They are about to either clean house or at the very least fire Gettleman which would make a unchosen HC/GM combo which almost always leads to the coach being fired for a guy the GM wants.

Their OC is one of the blandest and borderline incompetent ones in the league, their QB isn’t a definitive franchise guy, and they are up against the cap with multiple guys about to be FA’s in a season or two (Peppers, Barkley, Jones).

They are definitely tied with Washington as teams who have way too much to overcome to make a quick turnaround. Philly is the only team with the resources to do so but have a small margin for error with a GM who is hit or miss at best.

funny enough, those are reasons i’m concerned with a quick turnaround i think their gm and coaching sucks, so cleaning house is a huge step. jones is looking like a franchise qb after all to me, toney and galloday are terrific wide receivers, obviously there’s a question mark with saquon, but he’s still a tremendous talent, their left tackle is looking to finally be tapping into his considerable potential, and they’ve got some nice pieces on defense. add a couple top ten picks and things could get interesting

Roseman is admittedly good at free agency pick ups and trades.

but he does struggle with taking the best players available in the draft.

it’ll be interesting to see if he can rebuild the eagles into a contender again.

They have three 1st rd picks inside the first 15 overall picks. How concerned should Cowboys fans be?
I would say that Cee Dee and Diggs cancel out two of those picks. We will get one pick in the first round as well, so that sort of evens it out.

Their problem is that they haven’t found a QB yet and there is no guarantee that they will find one even if they draft #1 overall.

It may not necessarily be about the draft.

They might also parlay those picks into a Russell Wilson, which could be a problem.

If I were the Eagles, this is the direction I would be going
This, I believe, would be the worst scenario for the Cowboys.

One of their early picks will be for a QB. So that pick doesn't count. So you might as well say they have two picks in the first round next year.

With Roseman running the board not real concerned , watch them take a receiver round one three years running. Not a good year for QB early….

doesn't mean they know how to use it.
feathered dominance for a decade my @$$.
screw'm.
☆cowboys☆

They need a whole entire new team and coaches - I think the only player that they have that would start on this Cowboys team is Cox and maybe Kelce (he wouldn’t have started over Fred Beard)

At least one of those picks is a double edged sword. The more the Colts loose, the better the pick…the more likely they bench Wentz down the stretch to avoid giving up a high first. I just don’t see them getting all three
