A moment of respect for Kirk Cousins

I'm just concerned with what happens when Diggs comes back to earth. Because he will.

Are the 24 PPG going to turn into 30 PPG?

What makes you think Diggs can't continue to play at a high level? Guys do actually play at a high level for entire seasons right? Sure Diggs might have a crappy game here or there but there is no reason to believe he's going to just start giving up TDs left and right.. The kid can play.. accept it for what it is.. The only thing that might stop him from getting INTs is teams just refusing to throw at him.

I can't wait to slap the taste out of his mouth. Don't give a dang about him.

He's not going to break the INT record. It's just not going to happen. They will stop throwing at him before that happens.

And I'm not talking about him giving up yards and TDs. I'm talking specifically about forcing turnovers. Diggs himself is skewing our turnover numbers because he's had a historic start. That pace is not something we can count on happening all season long.

Well we can't say that, because until I see the team actually keep their foot on somebodies throat and dominate them defensively then I can't speculate that we're just going soft at the end and that's skewing the numbers.
You can see us sitting players in the 4th quarter. What else do you need to see to know we are going soft?

But if they stop throwing at him they become easier to defend. We don't need Diggs to get 15 INTs for his impact to be felt. Counting INTs as the only indicator as to how well he is playing is like counting sacks as the only indicator as to how well a DE is playing. If he is able to shadow the opposing team's #1 receiver and force #2 and #3 to beat us that makes our defense better automatically. #2 and #3 take longer to get open which helps the pass rush. #1 will be the first read on 80% of pass plays.. meaning the QB will look at him, see Diggs all over him and go elsewhere.. Meanwhile Gregory and co are huntin his ***. YOU may think getting a bunch of INTs is the only way this defense can survive. I don't.

I have never been a huge fan of his.. He's always been a stat compiler and loser to me.. But upon further review I gotta give it up to him. He has now evolved into that realm where Romo eventually got to in 2013.. He no longer makes the fatal mistake that loses his team the game.. He manages the game pretty well now.. He throws the ball well and cannot be fooled very often. I still don't believe he's put the team on my back QB but it would be intellectually dishonest to not acknowledge what he has become. His passer rating is tad inflated because he runs the WCO but he's got weapons and he finds them. As long as Cook is in the lineup to keep the defense off him he's dangerous..
Come on Garrett, your Giants just won, sit back and enjoy it for a change..

Maybe he needs to see Dak throwing for big numbers against prevent defenses to remember what it looks like?

Not accurate, Brown, Kazee and Lewis have INTs plus there are fumble recoveries. eliminating the best player we have on defense isn't an argument. Sacks and QB pressures have also increased. Yards are important if you're getting turnovers that end the potential for a scoring drive.
Is Kazee still on the team? Thought the front office might be ready to cut him because of the dwi

You have wayyyyy more trust in Brown, Leiws, and the rest of the rag tag group than I do lol

Their offense is legit

Good.. I’m ready for a team to get vertical on us so we can finally get after the QB.

Im tired of people going on PFF or whatever then coming back and complaining about our pass rush when the QBs we play are ultra conservative until we build a lead on them and they inevitably unravel.

I truly believe we will run for around 200 yards. The Vikings run defense is one of the worst in the NFL. This will make it difficult for the Vikings to get anything going if we play ball control and keep them off the field.

I can only go by what I have seen. Other than getting roasted by Antonio Brown the guys have held up against some really good competition. Not that they have not been beaten some.. but they have won their share of battles as well. At this point that's all we can ask for.. We're not going to see a lot of #2 receivers of the quality of Antonio Brown and Mike Williams.. The Vikings will be on that level.. as will the Cards.. Other than that as I look at the schedule I don't see a ton of #2 receivers who can make us pay. The other teams have serviceable #2s and even good ones. But not studs who can burn us for 150 yards and 2-3 TDs.

It's week 7, when does your magic 8-Ball predict this will happen? Teams just don't simply stop throwing to an entire side of the field and if Diggs cover the best WRs on the team, that is sort of a silly thing to suggest. I've heard this all season, that they will stop throwing to him, but he keeps making plays on some solid QBs.

And we STILL should have won that game.

Diggs creates turnovers.

You take Diggs out of the play and you're playing without much fear.

Diggs and his turnovers are masking a defense that is one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL and one of the worst defenses in the NFL at yards per carry allowed.
This will be offset by some of the guys coming off the IR. I fully expect our D line to go off with Gallimore back in there. Gregory will be able to do even more and Gallimore also.

Well, until he stops giving up a ton of yards QBs are still going to take their chances at him I assume.

I bet the WFT wishes they had him now. They were so negligent to let him go.
They really botched that situation. He would have easily been top 2 in the division all these years.

Just imagine if we didn't pay Dak... Qb isn't easy to find and there is no telling how long it would take to find one.
