LMAO at this response! Not because it’s bologna, but because its so true. CeeDee and Coop get open and Dak has been lights out getting them the ball in space. Don’t act like you don’t remember the “Dez needs to be able to make tough catches because Dak is inaccurate” post!
And the fact that Dez had to make a lot of contested catches because his route running was sub par.

Dallas is just dragging guys all over the field now. It’s not like we are running some sharp route running offense that’s all timing based.

Dallas offense is basically WRs running straight, dragging across the field left, dragging across the field right, or sitting down in a Window in Zone coverage.

Can someone post a video of his TD last year, while laid out horizontally and spinning, and catching the ball thrown behind him? I don't seem to be able to post videos with my phone.

I feel like he just isn't as good as Dez, and Dez isn't a HOFer. I know we didn't have a lot of better options at 17 except Diggs himself and we got Diggs anyway in the second round. But I think it could have been an overdraft considering Noah Brown and Cedrick Wilson have performed just as well in this offense when given their opportunities on a per snap basis. Lamb drops passes, doesn't make tough contested and spectacular catches. He only catches when he's open. He's not Dez even though the Cowboys painfully obviously try to scheme him to get as many chances as he can.

Opinions??

He's a very different player than Dez. He doesn't have the size and raw athleticism Dez had, but he probably has better hands, is plenty athletic, runs better routes and will be a more consistent player.

As for Brown and Wilson performing "as well" , Brown hasn't accumulated the stats in 4 years, or Wilson in 3 years, that Lamb has in 6 games.

Don't get me wrong, I like both Brown and Wilson, but it's a very different situation being a frontline player opposing defenses game pan for, and being a seldom used player they don't game plan for.

My opinion is that you don't know much about football if you can't see that he is a special talent....if you do and still post this, then you're click baiting....you asked for opinions, that's mine.

Dez, first two season: 17 games, 108 catches, 1489 yds, 15 TD, 13.8 ypc
CE, first two season: 22 games (so far), 107 catches, 1432 yds, 9 TD, 13.4 ypc

Very similar stats their first two years. Dez's total would be higher if he handn't been injured and missed 5 games his first two seasons. Dez was a better punt returner early in his career than CD is right now.

All in all, slight edge to Dez, but CD isn't far behind at this stage of their careers. CD is a better route runner now than Dez ever was, so he's got that going for him.
Dez was a number 1 receiver, Lamb is a 2......Dez didn't have a stud like Coop taking away targets.

I think you like Dez. As for Lamb ability he is an outstanding young WR who has his act together. As for overrated that concept is puzzling because it would depend on how you rate him to begin with. Is he the 2nd coming of Randy Moss that many of us saw come into the NFL and set the league on fire? no is he Megatron? no but CeeDee is every bit as good as any WR in the game right now.

I would ask this question: Would the Cowboys win without Lamb? If not, he's not underrated.

Personally I'm glad we do not have diva WR, these guys are working great with each other and we are not seeing guys melting down on the sideline hollering for the ball. Each man knows his job and they are doing their jobs. I like Dez but frankly the guys would at times take himself out of the game because he could not control his own emotions and allowed that to effect his play on the field.
