Plus the “professionals” make horrible decisions all of the time.
Hard to quantify professional decisions because "fans" are only allowed what the media is allowed to know... even if the decision seems idiotic we don't know how much of that decision was based off other factors not provided or under reported by the media. Teams use us and the media in their gamesmanship...

Question: why wouldn't MM say he didn't know who his starting RT given the strength to the Vikings line is the ends...

If he doesn’t play at all this week, even at Guard they might be shipping him out folks.

The question, do you want a player or a pick?

You also said they should have moved Martin to tackle when Collins got suspended at that the team was making a huge mistake by not doing so. You think we forgot that?

Catch still hasn't accepted he has no idea what he is watching. Likely never will.

Our offensive line is going to provide zeke and pollard with enormous holes with Collins at guard. Connor was our weakest link.

He’s either sending a message to La’el or he’s letting the league know that he might be available for trade.

Or.. He just doesn’t care and he’s telling everyone who is starting and we’ve looked to far into this.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm..

I asked for that move and they are actually looking at him at guard?

It’s hard not to read into this..

Are the Cowboys upset with him? Are they trying to motivate him? Do they just think Steele is better (doubtful).

Or.. Or… Is their a trade in the world before the deadline next week and by doing this it kinda sends a message to the league?

They really like Steele to do this.

It’s a move to get your best 5 on the field. Connor is gone in free agency so our 2022 OL will be

I'm okay with keeping Steele as the starter; he's earned it IMO.

What I am not such a fan of is moving guys all over the line too much. If we move Collins to guard and then Steele or Smith get hurt then it just becomes too much of a musical chairs situation for my liking.

It sounds like he plans on having practice sessions with his "contestants," to see which ones provide the best options, going forward.

I like that idea. I'd have to believe that he's knows what the Vikings have to offer and plans on being prepared to cope with their ends.

Coming from a guy who thought Garrett was a good coach..

You had over a decade to figure that one out and still couldn’t do it.

This again. We do this every time now. It's kind of sad you cannot think of anything else.

I always said I was okay with upgrading Garrett. I repeatedly constantly that he had good an bad qualities and a replacement was not guaranteed to be better.

You wanted Adam Gase :lmao: but that is besides the point. You took what I was saying and interpreted it as "Garrett good" and despite having this explanation given to you about 2 dozen times you still bleet it reflexively.

This lack of ability to discern nuance makes your analysis poor in general.

So after listening to the press conference he didn't actually say this. Just that Steele would start the week at RT with the 1s.

Let's hope that changes and we don't sit a player twice as talented simply because the backup surpassed extremely low expectations.

100% this. I can understand Steele remaining the starter for one more game while Collins gets re-incorporated, and I'm thrilled that Steele has stepped up as a competent swing tackle. But Collins is the better player.

Jerry is at Owners meetings. It will be interesting to see how he responds to Lael not starting at OT. He really likes Lael I think. He gets back today so tomorrow may be interesting

I think they want Collins at Guard. With Steele playing well and Collins filling in at guard our offensive line is arguably the best in football.

Yep and I also told you that if Steele was great I wouldn’t regret my opinion based on the information I had.

That right there…lol. So many opinions by internet GM’s, scouts and coaches. Nobody on this forum has the access to data, practices, meeting rooms and most importantly, the expertise to make any freaking decisions when it comes to it. But yet with all that “know nothing”, we make opinions and swear we know more then the organization.

But I will admit that making 60k post, makes you a “Zone” expert!
