Twitter: Randy Gregory out multiple weeks with calf strain

Good teams find ways to overcome the injuries.

Can the Cowboys? I’m not sure. The secondary will have to step it up, but I don’t have much faith that Diggs will tighten up the fundamentals and getting burned while gambling for flashy picks

Tough having our top two DEs out, though. You can only do so much overcoming.

How many players on any NFL roster this year are going to start all 17 games? And how many teams have already been absolutely decimated - in a "season-over" way - by injuries? It's a war of attrition and, as disappointing as this news is, would anyone argue that the Cowboys have been affected by injuries more than any other club?

? Where have you been this year?.. All the cowboys have done was overcome injuries

Looks like Gregory got a calf strain and will be put few weeks. Its time to bring out Bradlee the Annihilator and time to dominate offensive tackles.

Anae definitely shows potential. Maybe he is a bad practice player+he has made some dumb mistakes in games.

I hope he plays more than Goldston and Armstrong.

The poor conditioning of our players is as legendary as our mediocrity.

How can you say that Randy Gregory was in poor condition after watching him play this season? That is ridiculous.

Spelling this out, it refers to the tendency of our players to always pull or tweak something. Somebody isn't teaching these guys to stretch right.

Oh Noooo! Just heard the news on Gregory.
We REALLY didn't need that! That hurts!

Trading for Von Miller looks a heckuva lot smarter now.

SMH

Jerry was too comfortable and smug.

Jimmy would have made that trade.

Miller is recovering from an ankle injury. Had they traded for him, there's no guarantee that he plays.

Sooner than Gregory I suspect.

You have to load up when opportunity presents itself, Jimmy taught us that.

In the past we attributed the injuries from lack of prep from Camp Cupcake, now McCarthy is running the practices too hard.
I'm not saying it's a result of practicing . It's a question of off season work . Please, these guy's practice schedules are a joke.

That means we draw either the Rams or the Cardinals in the first round.

Considering both of those teams will most likely have a better record than us, yeah, that might be a problem.

Yep. I dont know what some of these fans expect in the play-offs: Saints, Rams and then Patriots in the SB. To win it all we need to beat the best.

CAP Alert....we're going to find it difficult to keep Gregory in 2022 let alone pay for him and Von.

That’s why some of we’re against the mammoth contract. 23% of the salary cap goes to just on player

Even Romos alleged bank breaking contract was just 17 % in his day

23% better be paid to a player that can overcome a team not being able to re- sign or get FA players.

FFS there are a lot of strength and conditioning experts here.
