The Chiefs fans dont take us seriously

i have been reading the chiefs planet board and they give the cowboys no chance to win this sunday. most of them say that there defense is full stength and that there pass rush and corners will be to much for the cowboys offense to handle. also the cowboys defense will not be able to contain kelce and hill and they will both score touchdowns. the way it seems to me i might as well take this sunday off and get ready for the radiers on thanksgiving.

I beg to differ, I'm sure Den, LV and SD fans very much would like to see us take down KC. That is a tight race in the AFC west

You know, you’re right! I didn’t even consider that! My bad! Let’s just say this: between the ABD’s, most of the league outside the AFCW, and many of the “journalists” who get click$ out of Dallas The Dumpster Fire, those rooting for a KC victory constitutes a large majority demo. IMHO.

All I know for certain is that we will inevitably have the ball to start the game, and the other team will get the ball at halftime. It's like death and taxes. Everything else is up in the air.

Right now KC is 2.5 point favorites in the game.

That's good news -- it's just the sort of odds that favors this team the best. It keeps us humble and yet, at our most intense! :D

H-m-m, and here, I thought the coin flip was up in the air, as well -- maybe we'll get lucky this time?! ;)

If anything, that's the kind of motivation that serves us well -- at least, it should. We'll soon see about that! o_O

No question but what beating them at their home field is what should serve us as a catalyst for our future! ;)

Any time a fan base does this it’s a mistake- hate when we do it as well. Cant over look or disparage any team. this will be a tough game however- make no mistakes about it. Hostile enviroment with a great crowd against a great quarterback and a team while flawed and started slow who is starting to figure it out.

this is a real test for us. If we can get a win it would be really huge for the psyche of this team moving forward and it’s gonna be hugeee test for the defense.

Yep.
There are those here that think that way.
One of these seasons, they'll be right....maybe this season....
OMgosh, I hope so. Kind of like a taste of Wolf brand chili. It's been, "Too long". (if you remember the commercial)

I'm sure you know this but we have an insecure fan base. They care about what the media thinks, those phony power rankings say, and everything in between as they swear up and down they don't actually care. We are the Cole Beasley's wife and Tad Prescott of football fans except we have this place instead of Twitter, lol.
I've often wondered if Tad had several accounts here.

I hear you brother, and your points are well made. This Cowboys team is an offensive juggernaut and worthy of some respect for that. I just think until we win several playoff games in a row, we are not going to get any real respect outside of our hard core fan base.

Reminds me a little of the Cowboys of my childhood- those late 60s teams that had the best offense in the NFL with Landry’s progressive offense using guys like Don Meredith, Bob Hayes, Don Perkins, Pettit Norman, etc….we were really good until the playoffs. That changed in the 70s because we finally started winning playoff games. THAT’S what this team must do again. Win some playoff games- plural- and the respect that matters will follow.

Cowboys went to 2 championship games in the 60's and lost heartbreakers.

That where they got their first nickname:

Tomorrow's Champions

You finally admit that you're Cole Beasley's wife???

I knew it!!!

I think this is a good time to construct a thread discussing this game and whether or not we should be viewed as a legitimate threat.

I grew up being a fan of the Chiefs as well and that is thanks to my grandfather who was a huge fan so moseying over to their forum isn't out of the norm for me...

One thing that struck me was when I was over at their forum they're totally 100% all saying that beating us should be an easy win. Some of the things they brought up was that we've beat bad teams, and that Big Mike was a horrible coach and Andy Reid has his number.

Some of the other things were that our linebackers are terrible, and that Dak has a noodle arm. They also pointed out that the beating we took at the hands of the Bronco's was an example of who we really are...

They believe their defense will shut down our run and we will collapse.. They're talking about running table easily...

I don't know about you guys, but I see a team in Kansas City that has some serious issues. I'm not about to be like their fans and assume we're going to walk into their house and whip them, but I seriously don't understand why the delusion is so prevalent.

For me, this is one of those games where it could go either way, but to assume we're an easy out is pure idiocy.

Does it really matter what some of their fans think? I hope their team feels the same. And we may not win but I’ll take our offense, defense and ST’s over theirs all day long! This Cowboy team is pretty good and I’m not afraid of any other team in the league. Bring it!

Well, if we are going by who beat who, they lost to the Chargers and Dallas beat the Chargers so we are clearly going to win.

Does anything really matter? Does it matter that some hate dak, some love dak? Does it matter that some of us call Mike McCarty Big Mike or Fat Mike?
Look man, if you read my post it's easy to see the point I was trying to make and it is a good question... Bottom line, out of all the forums I've been on the Chiefs was the only forum where the fans gave us zero credit. Basically they believe that it's a guaranteed win for them and I found that preposterous.. It wasn't so much that they thought they would win but saying things like our linebackers were horrible and Dak has a noodle arm.. It was ridiculous, I was truly dumbfounded...

At the end of the day it's funny, because there is a chance that we murder them because while they're getting better they aren't what they were yet..
