So we have got to look at the replacement of some key positions next year. What key positions are a must to consider at our #1 pick? Also consider our #2.
We def need to look at OT... what else?

When I look at the roster, I don’t see any reason why not to take best player available regardless of position.

Stick with BPA.

Anyway, this is a question for after free agency ends in March or April of next year.

If guy rated in the top 20 drops, I can see them going WR. Sets them up to move on from Cooper in the future, and they still likely walk in as a starter
Anything is possible, but I’d be very surprised considering what we need on defense at all levels. Wherever we draft, there will be a defensive player available worth the pick.

Replacement for Tyron. No doubt.
What about Steele! He played well at RT for Collins’ suspension then was moved to LT last week with mixed results. Today, he played better. Maybe he will be Smith’s replacement.

1st round you need to try and take the best talent available…

This years class is loaded at CB and it’s a need so that makes sense to me.

I’m also keeping an eye out for DE, OT and S.

DE-Lawrence could get released due to his cap number.
FS-both Kazee/Hooker are on one yr deals.
G/T-Connor Williams is a fa, Collins could be released, Tyron still struggles to stay healthy
TE-Shultz is a fa
LB-both Neal/Lve are fa's
WR-Gallup, Wilson, Brown are all fa's

Take the best player available in any of these spots.

A lot more needs than most people realize.

Yes, if you take a deep dive, there could be a big overhaul this offseason. Since the team isn't too active in veteran fa, the bigger question what do they do with their in house players: who do they resign, do they let any signed veterans go, which contracts do they decide to restructure?

Going to have to have a few tough decisions to make…

If poor man’s Demarcus, Gregory, and Parsons are all on their A game we have a Super Bowl caliber pass rush. I have ZERO confidence Demarcus will ever hit double digit sacks again. I’m going DE in one no with or without Dlaw and Gregory.

Little early conversation imo, but I’m in..

BPA is all I want. Yeah, I know it’s cliche’..but it’s the truth.

And for those that don’t like that answer.. I give you CeeDee Lamb. We didn’t supposedly need him, but we took him and he’s been a great player. Most wanted a CB this last draft (including myself), but man.. Micah Parsons has changed the look of this defense in year 1.

We have a long ways to go before the draft.. and too many variables play into what we need. If we can’t resign Gregory.. a dominate Pass Rusher will be a priority. If “Boss man Fat” ends up being “Boss man Flat”.. Cb becomes a priority again. If we lose both Gallup and Wilson.. do we dare draft another 1Rd WR? If Tyron Smith comes back and dominates the rest of the season.. is LT a need? Exp with Ball and Hyatt still being groomed. We still don’t have a Safety after this season..And we’ve been searching for that dominate DT for years now.. there’s just too many variables for this question right now.
You dont believe in bpa you just think you do.
