Come on man.

For the sake of argument lets say that those posters have never given Dak any credit, (which is true for only one of them. Aulac hasn't even dried yet so he/she really doesn't count), but let's say you're right.

SO WHAT?

You don't seem to understand that you and the rest of the emotional bunch are the reason they have the impact they do. You never fail to rush to the defense of any perceived slight of Dak, emphasis on "perceived". You are the food they feed on.

For the record, since you seem to have misunderstood, my original comment had to do less with the play and more with the fawning over the man. I even said it was a good play. If I were Dak, I'd be embarrassed that clip was put up.

Lol yes he is embarrassed every time ESPN puts highlights up, WTH are you talking about? Fawning over the guy ..again commenting about a good play made by a player from this forums team...its literally what the forum is for....you sure your right on who misunderstands?

Why is it our fans who dont like a certain player will do ANYTHING to take away from anything good they do?
Yep. And Dak isn’t alone in that. Cooper, Zeke, Lawrence, …. The contracts fuel most, but with Dak is it started well before the contract was even in discussion. Had to do with replacing St. Romo.

I think that was for him as much as us. He wanted to get that little voice in his head out. Also. Things like that. Even in a blow out inspire your teammates. Them knowing you have no issue putting your body on the line in a blow out is huge for their psyche as well. Just my opinion.
Very good observation. But he’s done it now so no more except in a very extinuating circumstance.

I am not throwing a hissy fit by any means. You asked me to name people who never have said a positive thing. None of those people have. I am not triggered either. I was just appreciating that Dak is back from his injury in full. Thats all.

You constantly tagging me telling me how triggered I am is kind of the pot calling the kettle black dont you think?
lol

You literally responded to a general post, not directed at any individual, with an emotional lament about "Why can't our fans, blah blah blah".

In other words, you responded to me with a whiney post because you didn't like my opinion. That is absolutely an example of being triggered.

Come on man you aint that thick.. you know that most of the over the top praise is intended just to troll the ABD trolls. Some of these posters have twisted themselves into a pretzel telling us what Dak can't do and will never be.. So yeah.. we have some fun at their expense when he hammers another nail in the coffin of his limitations and forces the haters to contort themselves further to discredit him.
Maybe you're just having fun with people. I can only take you at your word, but I have no doubts that some are being 100% legit with the weird things they say about Dak.

I think the dude is a top 5 QB, but I'm not gonna get weird about it lol

Your general post taking away from something our QB did for the team that was positive. Its not being triggered. I think you have a weird view on what the word triggered means. I didnt come attack you because you said something negative. I simply said why cant you just be happy he did it. The only one whining here is you. Stop tagging me.

Tags me to start this then whines "stop tagging me". Oh boy....

I literally said it was a good play. How on earth is that taking something away? My goodness you're a sensitive soul.

I made one general post in this thread and the rest have been replies to the emotional lamentations of the very predictable few. You fellas are the whiners. "Why can't you just think like me so you don't hurt my feelings..." lol

At least you follow up on your diatribes unlike a couple of the other egomaniacs that are to fragile to be challenged.

It's all good. Peace, friend. Go Cowboys.

Oh and, I am happy he scored on that play.

You're suggesting that I am not a fan of the Cowboys?

How emotional.......

You sure do assign emotion to other people a lot.. You either are or you aren't. There is no emotion involved.

It was a routine play for a QB of Dak's skillset. I even said it was a good play. You are making the same mistake the other two have. You are redirecting my thoughts on the fawning of some fans over a routine play, to the play itself.

It was a good play that I would expect my 230lb QB who got to the NFL by making those types of plays, to make.

You are even fluffing it up by saying "he took 'em on". No, he took him on. One defender about exactly the same size as Dak.

Good play, which should be expected from a QB with Dak's skillset against a team with a terrible run defense, like the Falcons.

Seems like we don't disagree that much on the play. It fit his skillset yes, but it still wasn't normal I think. So I don't know what the issue was anymore anyway. :D Just let them celebrate a nice play I say. That doesn't mean they think Dak's the second coming of Troy or Roger or anything. This season just gives us more reason to party than usual. :)

Fair enough.. I can't speak for others but I know in my case I do just that. If they can come in here attempting to discredit the accomplishments of our own players then certainly we can tweak their figurative noses and noogie their figurative heads. It's all in good fun.. at least it is to me as I suspect most of us would have a pretty good time hanging out with one another at a tailgate.. I have actually attended tailgates with online group members with whom I had disagreed with on one thing or another and had a fabulous time. If a person cannot keep this sports talk stuff in perspective then they need help that they can't get here.

I'm curious Ronnie, how many of "our fans" do you have on ignore? You know, with being the 'all in good fun' guy you are. Mr Perspective. lol

Welcome to the forum, BTW.

I'd love to revisit this in a year, after you've orbited the Zone a few more times. You're in for a surprise.

Cheers, friend.
Go Cowboys!

None.. I actually never bothered to learn how.. Plus, I'm pretty good at ignoring stupid without any technology based assistance.

sorry....who is emotional? is hatred and anger not an emotion that you and your buddies display all the time? often clearly displayin a lot of frustration with the illogical lines of argument and ranting
you Dak haters call anybody who says anything positive or supports dak in anyway or says anything good about Dak.....sloberers, lovers, emotional or whatever other childish names you come up with.

none of these people have been able to just say ones... a single positive thing this year about Dak and always always always give credit to everyone else on the team and find a way to bash Dak....specially @khiladi and @PAPPYDOG and @leeblair. perhaps you included in that list now

what I and many others have always done is disspell the ********* and counter stupid statements with logical ones supported by stats and facts from experts. only to just provide a little balance and add a dose of reality. I have criticized Dak plenty and will continue to do when warranted. but I refuse to participate in an agenda driven hate-fest some of the morons display....to them (and maybe you) it seems personal....which is idiotic.

and much like your finger pointing, you never fail to rush to attack any percieved mistake by Dak...emphasis on "percieved". You are the food people feed on.

for the record, since you seem to misunderstand, my original comment had to do less with the play and more with the hatred of the man. and your last comment is exactly what I am talking about. "percieved".
