Comparing stats between eras is foolish. Player stats should only be compared against their peers of the same era. A QB that ranks 1st amongst his era peers is way more impressive than a QB in another era ranking 3rd or 4th amongst his peers even if his stats are greater.

Except that Cooper had more catches and yards last season. Which are apparently your criteria for #1, based on your other post.
And of course, Lamb only has 3 more catches this year than Cooper, despite Cooper being gimpy for several games along the way.
Why it's important that one of them be "#1" and the other not is beyond me.

Hayes was the major reason the Cowboys drafted Craig Morton in the 1st round. Morton was really only accurate on long passes.
