Big QBs have clunkers and lose games. It happens. You'd know this if you were a football fan who watched some games our team isn't playing.

Rodgers was dreadful in Week 1, lost 3-38. And he made a personal choice that cost his team a 2nd game. Dak does those things, and you're ready to string him up in the nearest tree.

How about Brady? They just won on MNF to end a 2-game losing streak. But... how did they lose 2 games in a row? I don't understand. Surely a big-time QB wouldn't let that happen. Except, actually: Brady threw multiple picks each game, representing the margin of defeat. Heck, even during their title run last year, Brady threw 3 interceptions and the team had to win in spite of him in the conference championship game. And in the regular season, he had a handful of clunkers. 3-38 and 23-34 losses to the Saints where Brady threw 5 picks. You forgot Brady personally cost his team the division last year because he was hemorrhaging turnovers against the Saints, didn't you? If Dak did any of this, you'd be stringing him up from the nearest tree.

You pretend like big name QBs have to be infallible, like they've never had bad days or lost games.

Josh Allen doesn't seem to get as much scrutiny as Dak does, despite being paid more. And their reasonings are that Allen "almost" won the MVP or that he got the Bills to the AFC Championship game. But, with Dak they have a "Super Bowl or bust" attitude and narrative. So even Dak getting the Cowboys to an NFC Championship game, wouldn't give him any leniency from criticism or scrutiny.

Stop looking around for excuses.

Others failures won’t get Dallas to a championship. If we want a championship we need our guys to step up. Josh Allen is irrelevant. He’s Buffalo’s problem and not a crutch for Dak.

Just like Pat Mahomes Super Bowl performance isn’t a crutch for Dak.

At some point we’re either going to be a team of excuses or Mr. 40 million is going to have to perform.

Or we can lose and you guys can make excuses for our QB not being a type that overcomes and is just a long for the ride all off-season.. A 40 million dollar bus driver. Does that sound good to you?

I need Tampa Bay Dak. Hadn’t played for a year, no run game, no Zack Martin, no excuses and played the game of his life.

Sunday was just classic Dak. Go as the team goes.

Raise your expectations. He asked for a lot of money so now it’s time for return on investment. We’ve already proven we can beat mediocre teams without him.

You guys know whose followed my post that I'm one of the biggest Dak Prescott fans on this forum. That being said though. I was always fair in giving Dak his due when he plays well and saying when he doesn't play well. I've posted on anti-Dak forums in favor of Dak. But he's had two horrible games this year-horrible. And don't give me or use the injury card. Colt McCoy is winning as a backup with injured WR's out. Friggin Colt McCoy:facepalm: Dak is a great guy on and off the field. But I want Dak to be great in games when needed. Do you guys know that Dak only has like 6 wins if the running game doesn't go over a 100 yards per game. Dak you making 75 million dollars now. 75 with with 000000 zero's in back of it. Time for you to start playing like a top paid quarterback in big games. I 'm not talking beating up on sorry azzzz teams. I need you to beat up on the Packers, Chiefs, Rams, Arizona, 49ers etc. You talk a great game after a loss but all it is is TALK! I need to see greatness out there. Not Tony Romo 2.0 or lower.

And why I'm at it can I say I hope over rated Kellen Moore gets a higher coaching job outside of the Cowboys. Fans be talking how bad Dak play. Well how bad is Moore's play calling in BIG games? Nearly every coach that's considered a good coach with a good team. Good not great-hands this guy a butt kicking also. I for one hope he gets another gig. Let McCarthy finally do something besides crashing watermelons and giving out cases of Monkey Butt. And it's not just the loss especially on offense to the Chiefs. It's the mode of operation. Not showing up for big games. Key guys get hurt and we can't operate. I'm still as much with the team as ever. But at some point we have to cross the yellow brick road of mediocrity and go on the road of domination. Injuries are not an excuse. Every team has just as many or more. In closing I say to Dak. Show me who you are as a NFL quarterback starting Thursday. No more " as long as I'm here this team won't quit" Well if you winning quitting isn't even in the equation. And I know we only have 3 loses as of today. But if we can't beat the better teams come January. Will it matter?
PEACE.....

Dak will be OK against the Raiders. The dont have the personal to play tight man coverage against our Receivers nor establish a lot of pressure.

When Dak faces zone with wide open receivers and no pass rush he plays well enough to beat a defense.

Any other embarrassing takes you want to let us in on?

Just the facts, man. I'm not being paid 75 million to sit on my couch. he's being paid 75 million to play great! Problem with the NFL and other sports once you get a HUGE contract you already have won and made it. That's unless you're Micha Parson. I hope he keeps the same fire when the Brinks truck pull up to his drive way. Like Parson. You have to want to be great. Guys get that HUGE contact no reason to be great. Look around any sport and see what happens to most players once the Brinks roll up.

Sure but if the O-line plays like that again..you can use all the analogies you want but he cant change that and wont..if that is how our O-line plays against a "Decent" front we will not beat anyone no matter who the QB is...period. Thats not an excuse its a fact. When your O-line is getting whipped at an NFL history book level..your QB, RB, WR OC, HC all gonna look bad...

Olines are bad. Short passing games work. Just know where to go with the ball and don’t freak out like our QB did last Sunday.

Tom Brady is playing at age 44 with nearly no mobility and has played behind some garbage lines all because he knows where to go with the football.

Dak not only didn’t have an answer, he used no improvisation, no back shoulder throws, and my gosh was his accuracy terrible.

It’s not always going to be perfect and for 40 million this is what he asked for.

He is being held to the standard of elite QBs who figure it out. Now go figure it out and don’t crumble because everyone else did.

If the team around him plays well he’ll play well. Let’s see if his OL will give him some protection on Thursday and his receivers will catch the ball.

Yes Brady did not do it vs Washington. It is great to say that the QB should be able to do it by himself when everyone else is playing like garbage. I don't excuse Dak or this offense for how they played but no QB is out there doing it by themselves. No matter how much money is being spent on QB be it Dallas, Buffalo or KC the QB still must have a team playing at a level to win. I make no excuse for Dak or the offense, they went out and played a poor game and when you do that you don't win ball games. It is not hard to figure out and putting in all on QB while he shares in it was far from the only reason.

Again I can show you where TB12 does not figure it out when the O-line is getting whipped like that..he loses just like every other QB

I'm worried about the Raiders stopping the run. Then it's all on Dak. I still love Dak. But he has to get it going. Especially against better teams. C'mon Dak!

The Raiders stink, are dysfunctional, Ty might be back, C might play, Parsons will kill Carr...if we lose this game because of Dak I think we are all off the band wagon. If we win big, than those that fell off will be looking to come back on yet again

Not worried about any other quarterback or team not Dallas. You can pull out anything to prove a point. It's pointless though because neither guy you mentioned can help Dallas win.

Again.. I can show you 7 championships to show you he can win when it’s not all perfect.

Either Dak is going to be a Romo or a Brady.

Like Romo, we know everyone will have excuses if he never steps up.

You’re acting like he played decent. He was as awful as everyone because things weren’t optimal. It’s not always going to be freaking optimal.

Good point, Catch. Dak needs to become the offensive Parson. Defense rallies around him. Offense doesn't for Dak. And it's not all on Dak. These clowns on the Oline need to play better. Not to mention the wide receivers dropping balls:facepalm: Or the wrong coaches Jerry keep hiring. Who was our coach when we could of gotten Andy Reid:facepalm: How many good player careers were wasted in Dallas. You think Ware would have a ring now if he hadn't left?

I seriously don't know why people don't understand this. The offensive literally set a record in pass blocking futility on Sunday and posters seem to glaze right over that to continue the Dak bashing. Also, I love how all the football geniuses around here claim to be absolutely certain that Dak is not a good QB. Would any of you care to explain to me why is it that league GMs in anonymous surveys rate him as one of the best QBs in the league? Why do opposing quarterbacks always say that Dak is one of the best in the league? Why do NFL players praise Dak for being the ultimate competitor and a dang good QB? Is it all a giant conspiracy to try to get the Cowboys to keep a bum quarterback and stay out of contention?

Lol no man he won 7 championships because as a whole he was not on his arss all game..you are the one taking this game and trying to make it the norm..Dak and the offense are 6-3 right now with 6 really good games and 3 bad ones. Just say I'll back Dak when he wins one, that I can understand..NO QB wins under that kinda pressure...TB12 would have more champs if he could win while under that kinda pressure..those are the facts.

to me there is always some excuse why dak and the cowboys cant and dont win big games if u want to be the big dog you have to beat the big dog after sunday no one really takes the cowboys serious any more as a contender for the superbowl they spit the bit this team is all sizzle and no steak
it’s year 6 and they make excuses for why a guy whose been in the league 2x as long as the average NFL career can’t score more than 10 points when it matters.
