Is the perfect storm rolling in Thursday?

I have never seen any team go through what the Raiders have and they probably want to just hang it up for this year and start over in 2022 or......take it out on some team.

And who better than America's Team on Thanksgiving Day in front of the nation? Think they're not spoiling for a fight? Wouldn't you be?

They have some lightning in the 3rd highest pass offense and Carr is completing his passes at 68%. They do not have a good run game so they are one dimensional. However, passing is the Cowboys defense's weakness. When they don't get picks, they don't do well.

They saw the offensive weakness exposed by KC and they have a good DL to cause a little thunder of their own. They do have the 6th ranked pass defense; however, they rank 29th in run defense. So, the Cowboys should bring their own thunder and lightning and keep the strength of the Raiders team off the field.

My problem is I really don't have a feel for the forecast. They could bounce back as they did against Atlanta but now I realize what a terrible team they are. The Cowboys are saying the right things but everybody talks about the weather. And the Cowboys have had too many players under it.

The last three games have taught me not to expect anything but one thing I do feel strongly about is that if they do not rebound and rain on the Raiders, we could be in for a flood of losses and while we thought the division was ours, we could miss the playoffs and be left high and dry.

I think this team is too good for that but that's just what I think. I think I will know Thursday night if this team has the heart to weather the storm.

When the schedule came out, I was disappointed that it was the Raiders but now the opponent doesn't matter because the Cowboys are playing against themselves as much as they are the other team. And in the last 3 games they are 1-2 against themselves.

My thoughts exactly. For one, every team plays Dallas like it’s their Super Bowl. So when Dallas shoots themselves in the feet, there’s no coming back. 2nd, Raiders have lost their last 3 I believe, and with all the chaos going on in their organization, they will come in with anger and a lot of unpredictable schemes, outcomes, game decisions, etc. Dallas wasn’t prepared for the last 2 AFC West opponents, so who’s the say they’ll be ready now, on the bright stage that is Thanksgiving day. To top it off, we’re injured. Again, not an excuse, but people will use it as an excuse when this team inevitably goes down. What I’m afraid of is us losing and Philly winning. Division is becoming a tight race that Dallas may not be capable of winning. Mid season collapse is real and it’s happen to both us and the Bills. Not good.

With everything the Raiders have been going through this season just puts more pressure on the Cowboys having to win. If anyone thought it’s been doom and gloom since the loss to the Chiefs they haven’t seen anything yet if we lose to the Raiders. They’ll be a major implosion on this board if we don’t win that game. A loss would just put us one step closer to ending up like the 2008 Cowboys that were 7-4 and ended up missing the playoffs.

If the Raiders come with an attitude this game is a loss for us......
We simply have too many "If" factors to bring this game home.

the problem is that the tragedy they are going through is not something your rally around. Like you aren't going to hear them say let's do this for Ruggs because you know the guy murdered someone.

Thank God we have a short week this week.

Imagine having to chew the fat over this last game for 4 more full days.

And that's if we weren't playing on Sunday or Monday night.

Indeed.

we’ll have to chew the fat of the loss of the raiders game for a full week though so an eye for an eye I guess

The Raiders will consider this game a minor Super Bowl.

They have an opportunity to play "America's Team" in their plush, expansive, luxury stadium during a holiday on national TV. They get to be the "Bad Guys", a role they have traditionally cherished.

We had best believe that we will see the best Raiders performance of the season. They have a knack for smelling blood and the Cowboys have been bleeding out all season long.

However, if the Cowboys lose, all is not lost. The real bloodbath begins in the middle of December. As long as the Cowboys can dominate their last five games they should enter the postseason with sufficient momentum.

That story is yet to be written Nostro. Don't you have anything better to do with your time?

You're passive/aggressive trolling is getting old quick. I'm just about ready to tell you what you can do with yourself.

Just avoid any Platinum guarantees and we will be fine. I see a beat down coming, similar to Atlanta.

The Cowboys will lose on Thursday...it will make them a better team.

I like reading the doom and gloomers posts I also like it when the Cowboys shut them up.

I fully expect the Raiders to come in fired up and ready to play on Thanksgiving in front of a national audience. I don't know what to expect from Dallas. That last game could be the pin that popper their balloon. But what I know is injuries matter and Dallas has a lot of them. It looks like Tyron is back and that will help. But if CeeDee can't play, and I think he won't, the Raiders will load up against the run and let Wilson and Brown try to beat them while the double Gallup.

They have some breathing room to lose this game with CeeDee, Cooper and Lawrence coming back the week after assuming no one else gets hurt, but losing 3 of 4 and heading to New Orleans for a Thursday night game under the dome is not where I would want to be.
