He was a much better QB yesterday.

Dak has never ever ever ever been a guy that makes those throws that even give the ref the opportunity to make those calls.

If you watch other teams.. All these QBs do what Carr did. It’s part of the game.

The refs will give you these calls and Dak struggling against man coverage because of things like this. He needs Amari to get a mile of separation for him to be comfortable.
LOL. Ok. Whatever you say. Micah Parsons is just another Jaylon Smith right? This is why I am taking a break. People are so stuck in their opinions they cant admit they are wrong, or were wrong so they double down and argue for no reason. Dak wasnt great yesterday but gave the team a chance to win.

Do you understand that Parsons and Jaylon are nothing alike and you were wrong admit it and move on. I was wrong on him too. You are the first to beat your chest when you think you're right.....alright have the same energy when you're wrong. Why not hold yourself accountable? What's the issue?

Oh they are nothing alike because 1 is way better than the other so because of that they are just nothing alike.

Their skill set is similar at linebacker. I stand by that.

The difference is Parsons has the athleticism to get better in coverage but like Jaylon it’s a weakness and like Jaylon he’s a sideways player that comes down hill. Skill set.

Oh that’s been a complaint.

Watch good QBs play please. They all do what Carr did. Watch someone outside of Dallas for once and maybe you won’t be so pleased with Dak’s mediocre performances.
You simpleton......let's say that I don't watch other teams play which is a lie...but let's go with your lie....who in the hell do the Cowboys play every week lol? And how many times have you seen quarterbacks do what Carr got away with? Its not some skill its a farce among the officiating and how it was called. How many PI calls did Mahomes have against us? Oh bum. Ok how many did Herbert have against us? Oh bum. You are stopping low even for your standards.

Man y'all have lost your minds so now we are hyping up Derek Carr now lol. This place needs a reset lol.

Dak still a top 5 QB in the league so I'm not worried about him or your opinion of him. You can either come to grips with that or be delusional on it and keep praying for his downfall. Either way he's here for the forceable future.
The denial stage is strong with this one, folks.

I suggest just being honest with him and don't feed into his delusions going forward. The only thing that will bring him out of this fog is honesty and truth.

Does it look like a bargain right now? You truly believe Dak is elite? I think he is a good QB, but not elite. Elite QB's are Rodgers and Brady. It's easy to understand, switch them out and who do you think wins last night? Simple short roll outs and can't hit the WR? And that just wasn't last night.

Dak at any one time is top 7. Elite to me is top 5ish. He was definitely playing like when we were 6-1.

NO I wouldnt say any 40 million contract is a bargain. But Dak is worth every penny and any team resigning a guy in the top 8 or so is going to be paying the same thing.

I'm not a fan of team dysfunction, but in the long or even medium term it would probably be a good thing if Micah got so frustrated that he gave Dak another beat down in the locker room. Maybe that would motivate Jerry to move on from Dak if he felt he had to choose between the two.

Truly one of the dumbest things ever posted on this forum and I've got to tell you, that spans A LOT.

I don't blame you man like I told him he was wrong on Jaylon...alright. IT is what it is. A lot of us were wrong on him. He can't even do something as simple as admit he was wrong so why should I value his opinion on anything? And then you got another guy who's been hyping up Carson Wentz for 6 years....he's another that can't admit he was wrong. Its sad.

Greetings fellow Zoners. It seems like most posters on this forum are in agreement we are devoting an enormous amount of our cap to a QB who is essentially a top of the line bus driver. I have seen some posters on here in the past who obviously understand the cap much better than I. I am wondering if one of them can hazard a guess as to when we can realistically turn the page on the Dak era and move on from his massive contract? I am reflecting back to last off season when it seemed like the Eagles were completely hosed with the Wentz contract, and somehow, some way Roseman not only trades him, but it looks like there are going to get a first round pick back to boot!! I feel like we will just continue the 25 year ride down the toilet until we take our chances and hitch our wagon to a highly drafted QB. And don't bring up Brady because no sane person thinks finding the best player in the history of the game in the 6th round is going to happen in our lifetimes. And don't bring up Romo we won nothing with him either. Thanks.
:lmao:

ridiculous take totally insane..daks not perfect but hes easily a top 10 qb all day everyday..replace him with what? hes actually played like top 5 qb most of the year and had a few bad games..hes franchise guy he may not be elite but hes a ver y good starting qb maybe you should turn the drama knob down.

You guys are too stupid to understand skill set I see.

Maybe if Dak got pissed off and starting working up the team on the sidelines that would help?

His lost stare into space and dumbfounded looks when they're getting beat doesn't look like leadership to me.

Mike Irvin did it well....... Who's that guy on the team?

Being a fan doesn’t mean rooting for a team or player in one specific way. Having a different opinion doesn’t make you a superior fan or more informed. Being vocally antagonistic about how someone else roots doesn’t either. If you don’t like what OP posts, don’t reply. It’s that simple. Or do you really have such little self control?

Knowing who the starters are, who is hurt, who is not and how the backups are performing is pretty basic stuff for a legitimate fan.

If someone cant even keep track of major injuries all they are doing is wasting space on a fan forum with this nonsense.

Dak is worth no more than $25-$28M. I said that long ago. We don't have a top flight defense and no team has won a SB without that.

$28M gets you Ryan Tannehill. If you think Tannehill and Dak are even close to the same level of play, then you've just confirmed no one should ever take your opinion seriously on this board again.

I really wish you'd go root for the Eagles and see what a "real" QB looks like. Why did you leave that fanbase again?

These are grown *** men. It shouldn't take another grown *** man to get players to do their jobs.

Lamb and Parsons are brilliant, Lamb just needs to not become Dez with too many dropped passes.

The point is obvious. There's a reason he's already made a few "look here, here, and here, and not over there" type of threads today.

He bought heavy into Dak and it turned out to be fools gold, so instead of just saying he was wrong about Dak, he's trying to place blame everywhere else to save face.

Don't fall for it, guys.
I agree, but Dak does sometimes flash some good things.
I think next year is crucial for Dak. If he doesn't improve drastically, we'll have good idea of what he is.
This is his 5th year...I think...so maybe he's a late bloomer?
