The Prescott era is far from over unfortunately. You have to keep in mind our front office is fake. They are not personnel guys. They'll be the last to know.

What do you think, 12 more seasons of mediocre 8-8 football? Bad but not bad enough to get a decent pick?

Now you're speaking for John Wooden? You must have a high opinion of yourself. Have any words of wisdom on this one?

“Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.” ―George Washington Carver

And here is a nice one to prop up that suspect character of yours:

"The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning."

Being fake rah, rah doesn't make you a great leader. I guess you thought TO was a great leader too because he yelled at players lol? You sound silly lol. You are clearly the type who buys that fake stuff. You don't need someone to yell at you to get in your *** and if you do then you are doomed. Who the hell had to yell at Emmitt Smith to get him going? Or Michael Irvin? Jimmy? Ha!

lol

Does Dak deserve the credit he gets for being a "Leader", or not?

You can't have it both ways, no matter how hard you try, and you try more than anyone else here.

Simple question, Is Dak a great leader, or not.

I have made my opinion on that clear numerous times.

You are really not handling the reality of what Dak is as a QB well at all.
He's in danger of being unemployed as Dak's PR manager is not happy with his performance here......:muttley:

Divert the masses like the sheep they are......Guess that's what there taught at Dak is Great school 101....

The first 3 - 4 seasons are the growth years for up and coming QBs. Growing pains are expected and tolerated as long as the QB continues to show promise. By seasons 5 and 6, they should have arrived if they're to be elite. If Dak hasn't arrived by the end of this season; I say he is what he is at that point.
Elite status is just some media driven word fans use as talking points. At the end of the day what makes you elite? Because nobody would say Eli Manning is elite but he has 2 rings and he was 2-0 against Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. He made big throws when his team needed him to in the playoffs. Meanwhile, guys like Romo, Rivers, etc. have nothing to show for it. But guys like Big Ben, Russell Wilson....got their rings built on great defenses....

You fell for it and you are still here lol....what sense does that make? You fell for it and are still watching these guys very week and have been for over 25+.....congrats to the foolish club lol.
I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan. I don't attach myself to a single player and elevate them above the team like you and your buddies have done.

That's why I'm still here. I'll always be a Cowboys fan. Dak Prescott has no bearing on that.

Dak is worth no more than $25-$28M. I said that long ago.

Problem is “long ago” 28m was the new 40m. Derek Carr set the record for highest paid QB at 25m$ when he signed the deal he is still currently on.

Dak’s contract would have been close to that if the Cowboys had signed him after year 3. 40m is just the going rate right now for a top 10 QB

Oh, I see. You were trying to be intelligent.

Why didn't you mention the WRs in that offense with the RB? Because it destroys your agenda?

You know he's a fraud when his supporters try to deflect blame to others.

Even at that the Colts are getting better as the season has progressed and I have no doubt they would have handled the Cowboys easily the last month. That's a game the Colts win by two touchdowns. Even with wide outs who would be no better than 4th and 5th WRs here.

Yes, the Colts are getting better. Taylor ran for 185 and 4 scores last week. Their defense forced two turnovers from a QB who makes more money than Prescott. Meanwhile, the highest-paid player on the roster limp-wristed his way to a measly 106 passing yards. One can only wonder the Colts' potential this year if so much of their salary wasn't tied into a complete journeyman.

Now imagine Wentz with a Cooper or Lamb to throw to. Just one of them. Not even both like the bum has here.

Pittman is turning into a fine player, exactly what most thought he would be coming out of USC. And he's likely headed to the Pro Bowl. Exactly how much Pro Bowl talent does the highest-paid player on the Colts need around him to be more than marginally successful? When you get paid that money you're being paid to carry the team. Isn't that what you said?

Dak is worth no more than $25-$28M. I said that long ago. We don't have a top flight defense and no team has won a SB without that.

Elite QB's get paid 40 million these days. Try to keep up.

We do actually have a top flight defense. Although Brown is a bad weak link. You seem to be sorely misinformed.

Of course he's not the only overpaid underacheiver on the team, but.....hes the guy constantly having threads saying he's the MVP, and continuous threads saying how he's exceptional facing pressure, team leader, blah blah blah.....yall and the media built up the dude and this criticism comes with the territory

He still has a chance to shake this in the playoffs....if they make it

Brady in his prime I can't say...but in 2021? He's just as good as all of those QB's you listed.....Goff is trash however.
So you believe Dak is as good as Wilson, Rodgers or MaHomes?
Are you high?
I think right now he's more like Goff, with a better supporting cast.
But wait, Goff has been to a SB.

Ok. You got rid of Dak. You have 40M. Tell me how we are going to be better....who are u getting in FA that's makes this team better.
I'm saying cut out losses and draft a QB in the first round instead of Jerry trying to outsmart everyone by looking for a QB in later rounds. Keep drafting until you find a guy that gives you legit hope.

This is simple.
NFL is for the owners, and they let the fans watch their games.
The players and coaches are the TOYS the owners use.
Each owner has his favorite TOYS,and he will pay more than they are WORTH to keep his favorite TOYS.

Jerry likes his DAK TOY, so he paid what he had to pay to keep his favorite TOY. He found the toy and he did not want another owner to have that toy so
dak got 40 mil. Same for zeke, jaylon etc.
If your not one of his fav toys, then he lets you walk, but otherwise he will pay what he has to , so he can keep his fav toys.

Now some people do complain about a players salary, in relation to the cap, and nothing wrong with that.
I think we are all envious of what nfl players make, I know I am, and nothing wrong with that either.

But the reason salarys are so high, is the owners like playing their game, and they have their fav toys, and they have the money to pay ridiculous amounts
for them. Also the players union comes into play here.

To be honest, I dont think any nfl player should make more than 5 mil a year, and 40 mil a year is a joke, no matter who the player is.
But that is how it is when you have a bunch of moronic billionaires who are playing their little football league game.
It is what it is.

Also I dont see the point in complaining about dak, since we are stuck with him for 2 more seasons after this, no matter how he plays.
Thats how it is, just have to tolerate it or stop following the team.

Dak didnt play great in raider game, but he was not the sole reason they lost, I blame kellen mike, as much as dak or any of the players.
They should have ran the ball more, like 35 times or more, then game might have been different.
Dak doesnt make game plans, or call the plays, and those 2 come into play with any loss or win.

Best case scenario is you have the remainder of this contract.

I'm not going to say that you can't win with him but you damn sure can't win because of him.
I fully expect Jerry to pony up another contract for Dak after this current one is done. In fact wouldn’t be surprised if he extends him in a few years. Jerry wants to believe that we are really very close to being a sb contender.
