Dear Mr. Prescott,

When fans look for the talent and expertise of a highly paid professional and see sub-par performance, they have every right to be critical. Especially when that performance lacks repeatedly. That’s not jumping off the bandwagon sir, that’s expectations that the athlete will perform at the best of his ability and not seeing it. You yourself have been critical of your performance, stating you were ‘mad’. How very hypocritical of you to accuse die hard fans of jumping. Further, you’re ok with fans jumping? What player is ok with losing fans?

We’ve seen the caliber of play you are capable of, and quite frankly it hasn’t been seen in a few weeks. Forgive us for setting high standards for our players. It’s kind of a tradition in Dallas.

Good post.

Dak, throughout his career, will let the boat sink if there is a hole or 2 in it.

He is not a put the team on his shoulders type of player. He’s just a system QB.

If the system is thriving he is really good but he can only make plays within a successful system.

You give this guy any adversity and it’s at best a coin flips chance of overcoming it.

If we want Dak to be Pre-Denver Dak it’s going to have to come through others elevating him.

Lol. Our defense just gave the Raiders 500+ yards, zero takeaways and 100+ yds in penalties and you’re claiming Dak is the reason we didn’t win? Put your car keys away so you don’t hurt anyone and immediately walk to Philly.

Romo took more criticism than this ***** ever had and he didn't throw the fans under the bus. what a turd of a human being.
this is fitting since it's getting close to Christmas. Dakieho the Christmas poo.

Carr said he was sorry for making you look less than average MVP kid.

It’s been 2+ decades of incompetence and choking. It’s actually insane to be a homer about everything. There’s got to be a balance.

"I am sure people are jumping off the bandwagon, and we are okay with that."

No one can actually be offended by that....................

Dak is a good QB. There is no doubt about that, but he is not what this forum portrays him to be. Can he get there? Sure. Can he fail? Sure.

It could be a mental thing with him...he overcame a serious injury and that has to be on his mind. His technique on his throws, his feet, was all messed up but he kept the Cowboys in the game. He knows the pressure is on when he starts to call out his receivers on the field instead of in the huddle. I wonder how that made the receiver feel getting stank faced in front of the crowd?

Then, he calls out us Cowboy fans? I'll just take a wait and see approach from now on.

Not one fan was booing or on the field vs LV, so why talk about bandwagon fans? Makes me wonder where the focus is. Take accountability and play better in critical situations.

This team lost 3 of 4 games, and the only win was against a scrub team. The last thing to be thinking about is the fans. This more concering than anything...just focus on getting better.

Maybe if Dak didn't suck he wouldn't have to worry about fans jumping off his wagon.
So, you really think that Dak sucks? Really? If you say yes, you are just plain ignorant when it comes to football.....you know longer matter....

We have casual , bandwagon and diehard fans.

Many local fans are casual . They get excited or follow along more closely when we are winning much like Aikman accurately stated. .

The bandwagon fans have hopped on over the years from around the country with the success we have had . And expect us to continue succeeding.

The diehards are dug in following closely regardless the results complaining all the way to the bank much like Diehards of other teams . We support the sum and are Homers of the Star but not all of the moving pieces.

The biggest difference is most teams don’t have a fanbase around the country who abandoned their local or regional team for whatever reason . Teams with national following fans expect them to win. That’s what attracted them initially.

Well, technically if people are jumping off a bandwagon that means whatever bandwagon they jumped on is now not worth their time because of too many failures.

I'm offended that Dak and co are so bad that people are now jumping off the bandwagon.
