I don't see why throwing a punch with intent is less of an infraction than throwing a punch and landing it. Kazee avoiding the punch takes Toney off the hook? Again it is the different between 0 games and two games. I would accept that argument if Toney got 1 game. Remember too, Ceedee got a bigger fine for waving bye-bye than Toney got for throwing the punch. Seems inconsistent.

The point is T. Hill is immature. The game was over, take losing like a man and go home and try to get better. Tony vs Hill punishment awarded is a good argument, but its like comparing a cockroach to a spider!

I dont think most are arguing its a horrible thing to do and it should be dealt with and honestly 2 games is about right....Toni clearly got mad about a tackle, slinked around several players waited for a good moment and threw a sucker punch..yet 12k fine. both "cockroaches" and the only problem is one Cockroach was sent back out with no raid for some reason.

The process works in mysterious ways .
Let’s be honest you slug another player after the game and yeah it’s going to draw a reaction .

The rule says nothing about how well the punch is thrown it literally says the act

Are these the playing rules or rules that deal with suspension? Playing rules say you're ejected from a game for throwing a punch which Toney was. They say nothing about suspension and fines from what I can remember which are a separate deal.

Penalty is excessive. Just more BS coming from General Secretary Mara and his lap dog Goodell. That said Hill is an idiot. They need him and he was playing well. He hurt the team with another display of major immaturity. He can’t be relied on. After this season they need to move one from him.

Anyone know what’s up with Gallimore?

Between the league’s biased enforcement of “rules” and the referees having explicit immunity, why do I even still watch this sport? Hold these idiots accountable
Former Eagles player handing down the puinishment, thats laughable. But not unexpected considering how we got raped by the refs on Thanksgiving.

Thats why I really stop giving a chit about the NFL, I just watch the Cowboy games with my brother each week at his house mainly for the free beer and pizza, LOL.

Right the rule is there and its the action, the punishment should be consitent..thats what is being said. I have no problem with Hill getting suspended for that, its dumb, I have a problem with how its considered any dirtier than what Toni did.

There is a list of fines I posted before that includes categories. Lamb's taunting is on there at a set amount. I believe they put Toney under unsportsmanlike conduct and Kazee under unnecessary roughness. Had Toney connected it would have certainly been more but it seems they do distinguish between intent and execution.

The suspension was for the sucker punch. I guess you dont know what a sucker punch means.

A sucker punch is when the other guy isn't looking...He was looking right at him in a chest to chest confrontation that was initiated by #76

Per the NFL statement: "You both engaged in a verbal chest-to-chest confrontation which you escalated by throwing an open hand punch to his facemask, forcible enough to cause your opponent's helmet to come off.'

Nothing like doubling down when you're proven wrong eh?

Lol

You literally pulled a video that couldn't be more dissimilar. What went on there is hardly ever even flagged during a game, lol. Fail, bro. It was after the game ended, I'll give you that. Lol.

But you have Harrison Smith choking Lamb and isn’t suspended.

You have Aaron Donald choking out dudes and doesn’t get suspended.

Thug WR Toney of the Giants straight up punching Kazee during the game, doesn’t get suspended.

I just can’t dismiss the “conspiracy” that the Cowboys are unfairly targeted for some of this crap.

The Zeke “domestic violence” fiasco initially brought that notion into my head, but all these phantom suspensions and fines just affirm it. It’s unbelievable
It can’t be denied. It’s all right there for everyone to see. Makes no sense either…the NFL will rue one day keeping their most popular team down.

The intent was just as dirty, yes. Execution, no. In baseball, I think you're suspended longer if you bean a guy intentionally than if the batter ducks and the umps determined it was an intentional attempted beaning, don't they? I think it's the same concept here with execution. They could be like the NBA where coming off the bench is an automatic suspension even if you're just playing peacemaker but I think that's unfair if you're trying to prevent a bloodbath like LeBron started the other night, lol.
