I find it hilarious that you label anybody that doesn’t slobber over the mention of Dak as a troll. Some fans see the exaggerated worth placed on Dak around here and they choose to have a different opinion. I make a point not to rub it in when Dak stinks up a game and I make it a point to ignore him when he plays well. There are no rules saying that every fan has to be filled with Dak lust. There has been several players over the last 50+ years that I have not cared for. Dak happens to be among them. Several chinks in in his armor have been exposed this year and I feel no need to rub it in. I am quietly seeing more and more people recognize that empty stats and failures against decent teams should cost $40 million ata year. At one time, this team has had the best RB , OL, WRs and decent TEs around him and the offense still couldn’t win against good teams, even in low scoring games. I just wonder about the long list of apologizes that will be due to Pappy when Dak retires without ever winning a championship. The list should be long and the posters should be humbled. That she be an interesting day.
I'd love to respond but when you start off needing to frame me in a weird way just so you can go off on your own tangent then I realize any response will be pointless.

If you cant see what this Pappy character is then that on you. Maybe you don't want to see it since you agree with him. Either way one's feelings about Dak is not all that relevant to my original point anyway. Trollish behavior is trollish behavior even if you agree with the trolls point.

Fair enough

Well, you're anti-Dak first, so you are just the opposite side of the same coin he is on. I absolutely have no doubt you would rather the Cowboys lose than see them win with Dak at QB.
I won't respond to your ridiculous statement but I will confirm to you we have lost 3 out of 4 primarily due to the ineptness of our QB.
Can you ask Dak to show up between Quarters 1-3 tonight?
Thanks....;)

Bull. Dak has made $100 million off of endorsements for wearing the Star on his helmet. Dak simply got greedy. He could have taken $30 million / year, and that would have helped the team. Instead, Dak thought above being greedy and getting the most for himself ONLY, regardless if it hurts the team from being able to keep a playoff caliber team intact every year.

You know it. I know it Everybody knows it.

So call it what it is (this is coming from me, Dak's biggest fan)...that was some greedy *** job Dak held up against Jerry...and got away with. Now, the team is going to pay the price for it after this season. If calling Dak (or any overpaid player) as being greedy truly bothers anyone, tough cookies. I will call it what it truly is whether you like it or not, Greg.
Nobody takes a well below market value contract the first time they are able to negotiate a big contract. That's not just a Dak thing. My guess is now that he has the big contract he will, like other QBs have, be willing to restructure along the way to help the team. If he refuses to do that in a year or two my attitude about him will change.

Meanwhile, T-Law's cap hit this season is 25 million. Cooper's is 22 million.

Of all the players this season, which cap hit seems the most wasteful?

I doubt you will find a season in the future where we can point to Dak's contract and claim it was the most unjustified.

Zuerlein actually has the 12 highest cap hit this season.

You actually have no authority or credibility to confirm that.

BTW, it's funny you never notice when other elements of the team don't show up. It's also funny how you don't show up here when the team wins. Your only interest is when the team loses, and even then it's only to point a finger at one person. Your history is very clear.

Agreed. Regardless, I'm pissed at him. He could have taken less in order to help the team right now. $100 million in endorsements simply for being the Cowboys starting and franchise QB should have been enough to help the team back with the salary cap. Instead, Dak did the opposite. That doesn't sit well with me when it comes to being a team player and so called leader.

From the latest polls that I have seen, close to 1/3 of Cowboys are not really Dak fans. Are all of them trolls and haters? I didn’t frame you with any other words than your own.

Like I said, "no trade clause" is probably the dumb thing about that contract. JJ is stuck.

I don't want to hurt your feelings but at some point, Dak will literally be run out of town........you can fool some of the people some of the time but you cannot fool ALL of the people all of the time!!!

Wilson won a SB which trumps an MVP. played in two, he deserved big $$$$.

Dude, if you don't get an NFL MVP....how is that possible?
I get NFL MVP. To you it's quite important factor in a contract. To me it's not, given its opinion based and biased.

So again what you are saying no player deserves a contract if they don't win the Superbowl or MVP..

How do u think players and NFLPA feel about this?

Like I said it's your opinion albeit a ridiculous one. you are welcome to your opinion.

is it shark week and daks the bleeding sea lion?? chums in the water for dak haters for sure given hes not truly been the issue no one taking these alleged sharks seriously.

might want to find some defense, get the bad refs off the field, and check ut the OL and OC who doesn't know run game from his nose right now

real issues,

  • defense needs to tighten it up especially in coverage stop holding and getting PIs even if they are sometimes called and should not be..
  • OL needs to play together as unit most have played well but its either one linemen or TE that misses blocks or gets pushed into the backfields and messes up the play,,watching a lot of playback from the raiders game its the TEs the defenses are targeting and they are walking them back into the play and messing up pass or run..just one player each play..tighten it up and we will be back to 6-0 type play,
  • Run game falls on the OL but also the OCs inability to stay patience with it and wear down a DL..we need to be creative but also physical, hes been neither the last 4 games. Kellen im overrated Moore needs to get that part of our offense back. this isnt school yard sandlot football and being cute and passing 75% of the time isnt working..run game please!
And dak should help out by hitting the easy passes. No hate just fact.
He's not the rookie wondered that needs protected. He's the big money super star qb needs to make plays. Mentioning this doesn't mean other areas aren't at fault.
