Probably not, but this is not about the defense so don't try that deflection tactic.
This is no deflection. This is about the TEAM putting themselves in the position to win. If the Def. did their jobs, the game wouldn't have been so close, seeing how Dak played that entire game.

I agree, but the point is Dak was in a position to win the game and he threw it in the dirt.

I know we have yoyo on this forum that says he should have caught that ball and that the yoyo would have caught it because he catches everything...he's a bad man!

Agreed. Regardless, I'm pissed at him. He could have taken less in order to help the team right now. $100 million in endorsements simply for being the Cowboys starting and franchise QB should have been enough to help the team back with the salary cap. Instead, Dak did the opposite. That doesn't sit well with me when it comes to being a team player and so called leader.
And yet, Dak was paid just under 2 million a year during a period in which he started every single game, made the Pro Bowl twice, and took his team to the playoffs twice. Where was the indignation then? Nobody seemed upset during his first four seasons with regards to salary.

If you were to combine these two contracts and average them out, the Cowboys still got a bargain, all things considering.

That was then and this is now. He still got greedy and handcuffed the team and you know it just don't want to admit it. lol

From the latest polls that I have seen, close to 1/3 of Cowboys are not really Dak fans. Are all of them trolls and haters? I didn’t frame you with any other words than your own.
Is Dak worth his contract?

Judging Dak off one bad throw is interesting ( I know he had more than one bad throw that game). That just pushes aside everything good he did to try an bail out a bad day for the defense.

Some posters use the market excuse to justify that contract that SB winners make.

He did the best he could do...but, again, he had a chance to win it and failed...you just don't want to admit it and want to place blame on the defense which was not on the field during that throw.

And dak should help out by hitting the easy passes. No hate just fact.
He's not the rookie wondered that needs protected. He's the big money super star qb needs to make plays. Mentioning this doesn't mean other areas aren't at fault.
and al qbs have bad pass or 3 per game , sure he should but things happen..last week wasnt on dak..sorry regales sof the brown ot pass the defense and refs cost us that one..dak had more then solid stat line..

lets hope tank and MP can hold down the defense and diggs get an INT and brown and lewis just stay within themselves..

Been a Cowboys fan since 1960 when Eddie LeBaron was our QB all 5-7 of him, seen it all and do worry about team not some greedy QB needing more $$$$$ than his daddy, grand daddy, great grand daddy and his daddy ever made combined. 40 mill a season is ridiculous for a single cat,

Football historian here not some troll, ok?

Oh i can admit it, unlike some people. He definitely had a chance and failed. That was a really bad throw... but it all doesn't fall on him like some are making it seem. The team has to do their jobs.

Wait a minute so the the Raiders game was primarily on Dak?!? He sure was "inept" that whole game lol how do yall listen to this guy?!?

Hey, Brother. I just rewatched the Raider game...And again saw Dak miss a wide open receiver Brown for an important first down. He missed it, we punt, then lose. The point is that Dak choked on a maybe 10 yard pass to an open receiver by throwing low and behind him. That’s what elite 40 million dollar QB’s do ? You or I could have thrown better passes. And please don’t try to hide behind the receiver getting a hand on the ball and should catch it. Dak threw it low in the opposite direction he was running at full speed. You don’t lead a receiver by throwing behind him - and low. Why you homers can’t handle the truth is puzzling. Sometimes Dak is good, sometimes he sucks.

SB winners ok pay them got no problems with that. But when ya pay a guy who has never won anything as if he were among the SB winners, that just sucks,

Dak did his job the entire game, and shouldnt have been in the position where it all came down to one throw. It was a bad throw. Oh and how much does the entire defense get paid? I guess they don't get paid enough to not allow 500+ yards.
