Zeke ain’t doing anything. Stop it with acting like he’s doing some kind of dirty work that some base salary back can’t do with his volume.

Yeah a lot of guys can get 30 yards on 9 carries which is about what the Cowboys are doing with Zeke these days.. There can be no question about that. The question is that when he's healthy and getting 18-20 totes a game does that make the difference we need?

Zeke isn’t effective in the role he’s in now. He can’t carry the load. He is 163
Yards ahead of Pollard with 66 more carries. Sad.

He reminds me of the old Marion Barber because well.. They both played for Dallas and are big backs who got paid then sucked.
Lol comparing Zeke to Marion Barber? Now I have seen it all

Maybe he just can’t carry the load..

He’s performing like veteran RBs on their 2nd contract perform.

Its as stupid as comparing Pollard to Joseph Randle. Or do these arguments only favor Zeke and against Pollard?

BTW.. I don’t believe Zeke is Marion Barber.

I also don’t believe Pollard is Felix Jones or Joseph Randle.

He looks awful. Even Aikman was calling him out in the nicest way possible the other night.

He’s doing a lot of dirty work including blocking. Pollard is a liability as a blocker which could get Dak killed. Zeke is injured right now. It’s obvious to everyone watching him limp around last week.

Pollards effective.

Thats pretty obvious to everyone who isn’t a Zeke apologist.

Come on man, you know better than this.. Until the late big run against the Saints he was literally averaging less ypc than Zeke was. He had essentially the same level of production against the Raiders, Falcons and Chiefs that a one-legged Zeke had.. and he actually produced at a lower level against the Broncos.. So maybe your definition of "effective" differs from others. The point is that aside from one nice play every 3rd or 4th game Pollard has done nothing to rise above the putrid blocking that is hampering both backs. Pollard needs more totes because Zeke is hurt.. not because he's killin it out there.. cause he isn't.

No.. Pollard will be fine as a blocker. He just won’t give you a Zeke level of blocking.

There is a long list of fullbacks and RBs who can block that are out of the league. You’re not paying 15 million a year for pass blocking. I mean currently you are because he sucks at running but you know what I mean.

I’m no Zeke apologist I’m just laying out the facts. It’s clear he’s not running well because he’s injured and our OL isn’t playing well. The reason the Cowboys aren’t going to Pollard more is due to blocking. Zeke is a great blocker and with the OL issues we need him out there. Pollard would end up getting Dak killed.

With our OL struggles we need Zeke blocking or we could lose Dak. Even injured he can push the pile better than Pollard. You really don’t seem to get it. There’s really no point going any further with this. It’s not like we’re going to come to an agreement on anything.

That is part of his game!

You made this same excuse when he played against the 9ers last year!

Guess what??? Pollard makes big plays! Shocker I know! But he is a guy that brings his averages up with explosive plays.

His skill set is Christian McCaffrey. That’s how he should be used to be at his best. Dallas doesn’t even use him in his proper role and he still finds way to make plays.

No you really don’t seem to get it. You’re doing everything from a Jason Garrett I’m terrified POV.

Pollard is the one putting points on the board. It’s an explosive play league. I get it. You don’t.

What it looks like when Tony Pollard “carries the load” behind a bad offensive line and no Dak.

This is what an elite Yards After Contact runner looks like.

I beg to differ. being used like an every down back is what has led to CMac missing 66% of his team's games the last three seasons.. If anything the Cowboys should use McCaffrey as a cautionary tale of what NOT to do with a slender built back. I'm fine if they want to use him for 12-15 totes a game and another 3-5 catches.. But increased workload has resulted in increased IR time for CMac, Kamara and a host of other backs of this type.

Zeke has 8 TD’s and Pollard has only 2. So much for who’s putting the points on the board. It’s obvious who gets it and who doesn’t.
Zeke steals TD’s from other people. Players like CeeDee, Amari, and Pollard get us down the field and Zeke steals the TD by running it in for 1 yard. It’s meaningless and Zeke is broke down and almost done. When the knee heals he’ll be serviceable but until then… he needs to sit and let Pollard do his thing.

Im glad Zeke has limped through his injury but he’s been good in a handful of games, if that, for 2 seasons.

Kamara is struggling too.

Gurley & Leveon Bell are both out of the league and signed contracts the same time as Zeke.

Zeke might show up here and there for the rest of his career but 2016 & 17 Zeke is gone. He’s on the downside. He can’t carry the load and he needs his role significantly reduced.

The facts are only Dak has accounted for more TDs this season than Zeke. It hasn’t been easy getting a yard behind this OL lately. We failed on a couple of 4th downs from the one this season.
