I don't think Dak played well.. today was actually a good example of why we shouldn't have paid the dude 40M... We do NOT need a superstar QB if our defence keeps coming up big. We could have saved money on his contract and upgraded other positions.

Dak drove the bus ok.. but those who are still clinging to him as an elite QB are blind. The whole league has worked him out now and there is no coming back. He has no confidence in his legs.. his pocket passing is average at best and he needs all day to find a read.

On that TD to shultz.. the commentators were going on about how Dak was 'great' to find his 3rd read... all I'm hearing/seeing is that our OLine needed to hold for 6-7 seconds 5 yards from the end zone.. that is a near impossible task against all bar the worst of oppositions. He needs to see the field faster and throw better into that endzone.

We won.. but don't think that excuses Dak and most of the offence.. they are really struggling. I haven't seen a Dallas defence this good since the 80/90s. We are legit dominating right now.. but against the top offences in the league it won't be enough. We need to sort out the offence and fast.

I feel this is a repeat of 2016.. Dak will get found out in the playoffs pretty quick. I wish we had another QB.

Oh so you deny that good QBs often have a sense in the pocket and when running when they are about to get hit?

And I don't blame him for what's wrong with the offense solely. He's part of the problem. It's hilarious that you guys are acting like he's been really good only to be let down by WRs or the OL or Moore or the moon being out of it's axis.
I don’t deny that yes quarterbacks either have a clock in their head or they feel the pressure. I don’t think this is just something only “good” quarterbacks have. Dak took a shot and missed. I don’t think his ability to feel pressure is really one of his issues. And I don’t know who you guys are but I said my peace. The offense is inconsistent as of now I can’t say anyone is really playing above their potential right now. But some want me to believe this is who Dak is and I just disagree.

What? You said he should’ve ran it you didn’t say he should’ve thrown to Gallup lol….

my point is he made the WRONG decision. is it that difficult for you comprehend that or should I spell everything out to you?

I don't want you to believe anything about Dak. Stop making generalizations. You just seem to assume that if someone is critical of his play, he must be a Dak hater and thinks this is Dak. I don't think this is who he is. But there's no question he's not playing nearly as well as he did earlier in the year and frankly, the Cowboys likely can't make a run in January if he's playing like this.

So he, Moore, whatever have to figure this crap out. There is too much talent on O to look as feeble as we do at times.

He did….and he got him from the back. Should’ve felt the pressure but didn’t…..the guy still could’ve blocked him better initially.

The guy who is blocking is a WR. In that play design, the WR is basically just to try to slow down the DE as the QB rolls out. Expecting a WR to stone block a DE is ridiculous.

And if Dak realizes he's got pressure from behind, then just keep running. If he had been able to diagnose what was happening sooner, he could have kept running and got some yardage, instead he stopped and tried to force a throw, allowing the DE to crush him.

Dak hasn't thrown for for 3 TDs in a game in two calendar months (Oct 17) since the NE game. The following QBs have done it multiple games since then:

Stafford - 5
Brady - 3
Rodgers - 3
Herbert - 3
Wentz - 3
Mahomes - 2
Allen - 2
Goff - 2
Burrow - 2
Roethlisberger - 2

So obviously all of the true elite QBs have done it but even the ones we thought Dak was supposed to be better than have done it a few times as well.

This offense is bad, this QB play is bad...we might be in big trouble!

Why didn’t you do this weeks 1-7? Honestly
We kinda did.. Dak is QB1 of the Cowboys.. he will always be talked about.

And I remember Weeks 1-7 when everyone was measuring his gold jacket and riding anyone who had ever said even a whiff of negativity towards Dak.. so it goes around!

There were several of us who were posting in Weeks 1-7 saying that Dak was playing well but ALL the signs of his flaws were there.. the lack of vision, the long time in the pocket, the inaccuracy, poor throws etc. Dak looked good Week 1-7 because the run game was out of this world. This offence begins with the Run.. when Zeke went down and then Pollard.. it is not surprising Dak looks like hot garbage.

I know it is hard to grasp basic concepts like game-plans but its' pretty clear Dallas is playing it close to the vest versus bad teams with no offenses.
The fact they are winning solidly indicates that is a fairly smart overall plan.

I bet on the over of 9.5 so Dallas has now beat the expectations of Vegas. This with 3 games to spare. So right now folks have done their job and we should celebrate that.
