Parsons Looked unhappy, welcome to the NFL

I’m sure Micah was unhappy that he didn’t get a sack or fill the stat sheet with huge game changing plays.
Bottom line - Parsons vs Giants - 1 tackle….period.

It happens, young fella. The other team has professionals too, along with coaches.
Good news….you get the Washington OL and QB again next week. :)

He also had 2 pass defense, and probably shared a 1/2 sack or tackle for loss. I think he played well versus the pass.

They're misusing him. Yes the defense played well and got takeaways, but the enemy QBs had way too much time in the pocket to throw. Parsons in the middle as a hook curl zone defender is a waste of the best pass rusher in the NFL. Yes he's not bad at coverage but it gives the QB way too much time.

You can get away with it against bad teams but against playoff caliber opponents you MUST be able to get pressure and take away time in the pocket. The enemy had all day to throw on most occasions today. They got 3 sacks, we only got 1, and very few hurries to boot. Quinn's pass rush game plan was awful today.
Maybe he wanted them to pass with thier 3rd string QB...

Team sport. We kept the opposition to 6 points. There aren't many games where you aren't going to win from there.

Jaylon Smith had the same number of solo tackles as the Cowboys entire draft class that included Parsons, Joseph, Golston, and Bonhanna. You can throw Gregory in there as well. Gimpy, slow, washed up Jaylon Smith had the same number of solo tackles as these 5 Cowboys players combined.....and I could care less.

The Cowboys won and that used to be good enough. Maybe the Cowboys should go winless one season just so some fans could learn how to appreciate a victory against a division rival, no less.

Just think Jerry Jones will keep Dak here indefinitely. He falls in love with players and forgives their bad play. :banghead:

This was the worst use of Parsons all season.

Having just standing in the middle of the field being completely out of the play should be a fireable offense.

They had him watching the best player on the offense...hard choice for Quinn..lets see watch Barkley OR send you and Gregory and Tank at McBurger...hmmm again duck your football slip is showing.

I have no problem with it. He’s carrying a hip injury, the QB still had to waste energy unnecessarily accounting for him, and Parsons got to get some more reps at LB.

Anyone watching the game, noticed Parsons rushing the QB on occasion. Too many fans are enthralled with his magnificence, that they forget that this is a team. Against the Giants, the Cowboys could afford to use him in other areas to see how the defense would look.

Besides, did anyone notice the holding during the Cowboys rush? If the stat leaders are just playing for stats, this team is not going to go far. Dallas is winning tough games that will prepare them for the playoffs. The defense is doing its part so just enjoy the ride.

I don't think he has many opportunities to rush the QB and honestly that's just misusing him
I agree, I feel they're misusing him. But that pass break up towards the end of the first quarter when he read the route and took up for the CB, that was amazing. Just pure athleticism and intelligence.

But our defense will be great if we consistently rush DLaw, RG and Parsons. One of those guys will cause problems on every play. I'm hoping come playoff time Parsons, RG and Dlaw are rushing the QB every play.

Also Dlaw delivered today. Great game by #90.

I hope Micah takes his frustration out on the Football Team next week.

No one is unhappy after a win. This is a team sport and Parsons is a team player. Nothing wrong with other players making plays.[/QUOTE

Agree 100 percent. Who gives a rats butt about anything but the fact our D laid the wood on them the entire game. Our so called fans on this forum would have rather him had 3 sacks and we lost. Makes no sense to any fan who followed this team when they won 1 game all year. Yes, I followed the team then. Lived and died Cowboy blue and still do. Gosh we have some whiners on this forum.

Slump......

Guy is still a rookie, let's not forget that. Plus, the game plan called more for run-stopping because of Barkley.
