He has a record of 24-5 against them since his rookie season in 2016.

9-2 against New York Giants
8-1 Washington Football Team

Well you see, beside 2017, Dak has always had a better team than his rivals.

He’s one of the biggest reasons we’ve been a better team than our divisional rivals.

Do people forget who he won the starting job from and never gave it back?

The Cowboys have a Super Bowl defense and the injury Gods have been great to us so far. This might be the best chance Dak will ever have of winning a Super Bowl with the Cowboys. The playoffs mean everything for the Cowboys this year. If we go out early there will be changes on coaching staff and some offensive players (Amari, La’el, and Zeke)

The injury gods have been great to us?

Dak Prescott
Amari Cooper
CeeDee Lamb
Dalton Schultz
Michael Gallup
La’el Collins
Tyron smith
Cedric Wilson
Blake Jarwin
Demarcus Lawrence
Randy Gregory
Gallimore
OSA
Jourdan Lewis
Tony Pollard

I’m not just listing our starting lineup, I’m listing players that have missed at least 1 game and god only knows how much practice time due to injury and/or covid.

...Dak is actually 23-6 against the NFC East and against the rest of the NFL Dak is 28-25.....so thanks for proving that Dak beats up on what has been a crappy NFC East since 2016 and barely above average against the rest of the NFL.

Since 2016 team records

NYG 33-61
WFT 39-52-1
Philly 49-44-1

Combined record: 121-157-2

So you brag about Dak 'owning the NFC East' while failing to point out the pathetic status of the other 3 teams since 2016.....some people will do anything to prop up Dak.

Every team has injuries/sick that are not season ending. We have only one season ending injury (Cox). We still have a chance to actually field all 22 starters before the end of the season. This our best chance.

However, he and his team have only split the division titles with the Eagles. *
2016, 2018 - Dallas
2017, 2019 - Philadelphia
* 2020 is the exception since Prescott was injured and missed most of last season.

Thank you for pointing that out as 2 division titles (this season will be 3) since 2016 while beating up on the East....one would think Dallas should have won the division damn near every season save for 2020.

Dak has been great and has taken care of business against some weaker divisional teams. He was rewarded (and rightfully so) with a massive deal. Now it is time for him to set his sights higher and push this team towards consistent playoff success. QBs on 4th round rookie deals can brag about their records against weak divisional opponents. $40 million dollar QBs need to take another step.

Dak's dominance against the other NFC East teams is one of the main reasons so many fans from those other three teams were coming in here for two years screaming from the mountain top that Jerry should not re-sign Dak. THEY knew.. If the Cowboys re-sign Dak they are likely in for another decade of looking up at the Cowboys.. So they were trying to speak Dak's departure into existence .. But neither the universe nor Jerry paid them any attention. What's hilarious is that some of the moron pundits declared Dak "the third best QB in the division" over the summer. And some of the morons here were giddy in quoting those "experts." Geniuses I tell you.. sheer geniuses..

Wow, I knew it was bad. But geez.
I remembered something last year showing that none of the East teams hardly ever beat out of division teams. If they do, it's very rare.
It's almost like a Division II college trying to play with the big boys, lol.

The NFC "Least".

Self explanatory.

Would now be the appropriate time to point out that the NFC Least has as many Super Bowl wins in the past decade as the NFC West and NFC South? And more than the NFC North and the AFC South? Eyes on the prize gentlemen..

Absolutely.

I would think that we all hope and pray for our own Cinderella fluke season like Philly pulled off once as did the Giants(twice for them if ya go back 15 years).

So yeah,
I'll keep rooting for any lucky bounce, hot at the right time, overdue law of averages, fluke or divine intervention gift that helps get this team another trophy.
I'm all for it.

Other than that, status quo or GroundHog Day to me however you want to interpret it.

My idea of a special season, as I've heard some call it isn't a one and done.

Maybe this is the year.

...and the 15 years prior saw 1 NFC East team win a Super Bowl but no clue what this has to do with the original thread and the fact Dak is barely above average outside the NFC East.

So it isn;t that the other 3 teams were total crap that led Dak to winning but the fact Dak is such an amazing player? Okay.
