...and the 15 years prior saw 1 NFC East team win a Super Bowl but no clue what this has to do with the original thread and the fact Dak is barely above average outside the NFC East.

It did kinda veer off subject, lol.

So it isn;t that the other 3 teams were total crap that led Dak to winning but the fact Dak is such an amazing player? Okay.

I've already tried using the Peyton Manning and Brady examples to further illustrate how division dominance is not the end all be all.

So when the Brady/Manning haters scream they beat up on a weak division it's like "AND"...What about the other 10 games?

So, yeah.

It ain't hard to figure out.

I must have missed the part where any part of my statement said anything remotely similar to "Dak is such an amazing player.." Perhaps you could point it out to me... Whether Dak is an amazing player or not is purely subjective.. The fact that he owns the other NFC East teams is not..

Again, to brag that Dak 'owns the NFC East' when the NFC East has sucked since Dak came in the league is a big stretch.

Good teams beat the bad teams. That's how we tell them apart.

If Dak is as bad as he's made out to be by some here, than his records against NFC East teams should be just as bad as the rest of the garbage, no?

...Dak is actually 23-6 against the NFC East and against the rest of the NFL Dak is 28-25.....so thanks for proving that Dak beats up on what has been a crappy NFC East since 2016 and barely above average against the rest of the NFL.

Since 2016 team records

NYG 33-61
WFT 39-52-1
Philly 49-44-1

Combined record: 121-157-2

So you brag about Dak 'owning the NFC East' while failing to point out the pathetic status of the other 3 teams since 2016.....some people will do anything to prop up Dak.

He’s one of the biggest reasons we’ve been a better team than our divisional rivals.

Do people forget who he won the starting job from and never gave it back?
1) Starting QB Romo was injured in a preseason game nd was placed on IR for six weeks minimum per league rules in 2016.
2) As Romo progressed through his rehab, Jerry Jones initially stated that the QB would return as the starter once Romo was cleared to rejoined the active roster.
3) With the success of Dak Prescott during Romo's absence, Jones (perhaps with prodding from his VP son, HC, etc.) decided to keep Prescott as the team's staring QB.

So like I said. He never gave the starting job back once he had it. You know, hopefully everyone knows who he won it from as a 4th round rookie. Game 1 he was our QB and we finished the season 13-3 and got robbed by our current HC, Aaron Rodgers and the GB Packers at Lambeau Field that season. GB went on to win the SB that year. McCarthy and Rodgers only championship.

Guess who "WE" apparently have to go through this season. LOL!

Thank you for pointing that out as 2 division titles (this season will be 3) since 2016 while beating up on the East....one would think Dallas should have won the division damn near every season save for 2020.

^^^Yep one of the board's great intellectuals that told us all that Andy Dalton was better than Dak only for that same offense to score less points total in the next 4 full games than in Dak's last 4th Quarter. When given the chance for their moronic theories and predictions to be proven right after Dak went down -- came up the exact opposite.

Their predictions came up so awfully wrong that Dak got a record breaking deal after everyone saw what the Cowboys were without Dak: a repeat of 2015.

You would think people like you would show some amount of shame and sit this season out but here we are.

So when the W/L record’s unimpressive, it’s Dak’s record.

But when Dallas started 6-1 this season, you cried in every single Dak thread about how the wins are TEAM wins and to stop praising Dak.

No, what it shows is Dak can beat piss poor teams as he should but against better teams he struggles....which is his MO.

Sort of like how the thread says Dak owns the NFC East....yet you have no issue with that because it shows Dak in a good light so Dak gets credit for the NFC East record.....yet when someone points out Dak's play outside the NFC East suddenly they are biased.

You continue to be a joke in this group.

This won’t matter to the Dak haters, they will tell you he’s the only reason we lose games and if Cooper Rush could just start we would be 14-0 right now.

Oh, so it is okay to say Dak owns the NFC East and point to his record to elevate him and credit him for wins but when someone points to Dak's barely above average record against the rest of the NFL suddenly they are haters that blame loses on Dak? You guys are a joke.

I could care less about winning the division. Want more. At least nfc championship game. Any less is a let down and failure

I don't believe any true fan is satisfied with just winning the division. However winning the division is the first step towards getting where you want to go. For that reason it is important. It's certainly possible to appreciate that without being thought of as "settling." Everything doesn't have to be black and white.

Fun fact: When you beat a team, you contribute to them being sucky.
