Stop already.Witten.
Stop already.Witten.
I thought we were adding, not replacingYeah but why replace Randy Gregory when you could replace Connor Williams with the greatest offensive lineman of all time or Biadiscz with the best center in franchise history?
Emmett did not do too well once he left us. Charles Haley would be my vote, but yeah Dion would be right thereCan I give 100 likes to this and Emmit Smith??
Larry Allen.I'm trying to avoid the endless Dak debates, though I might just be fooling myself. So, you can't pick Staubach, Aikman or any other Cowboys quarterback. Aside from that, which past Cowboy player and his position would you team with this offense or defense.
Me? It's a tie between Charles Haley, Erik Williams, Larry Allen and Emmitt Smith.
I gotta go Emmitt Smith. His durability, reliability and productivity at the running back position would make us a better balanced team and even more dangerous offensively. I'm okay with the pass rush, and although I'd take an upgrade on the offensive line, I think we can get by with the line we have, provided Tyron Smith returns.
However, the lack of a running game concerns me. And I believe we'll have to lean more on that in the playoffs.
But that's my take. What's yours?
He was mid 30sEmmett did not do too well once he left us. Charles Haley would be my vote, but yeah Dion would be right there
He had a private masseuse he was healthy as ever. He didn’t have an offense of line. And that’s no disrespect to Emmett. It’s any running backHe was mid 30s
Huh? There was no flaw in Emmits game.Emmett did not do too well once he left us. Charles Haley would be my vote, but yeah Dion would be right there
Hutchinson, leaf, Wright, stoerner, Jeff Blake, etc were the QBs once the millennium turned. He left at 34, broke a shoulder blade yr 1 away and ran for 930yds and 9tds at 35...with AZ ... in 2004.He had a private masseuse he was healthy as ever. He didn’t have an offense of line. And that’s no disrespect to Emmett. It’s any running back

That’s what I’m sayingUhhh, you do realize that by the time Emmitt went to Arizona he had already been in Dallas for 13 seasons, right? He should have already been retired by then, so of course he didn't do so well when he left.
So if you could choose one guy to add to this team right now you would take Emmett I’m taking Charles HaleyUhhh, you do realize that by the time Emmitt went to Arizona he had already been in Dallas for 13 seasons, right? Well I explained my positionThats cool. Emmitt was the best too.
Jim Brown over Emmitt Smith was a bad take.
Well I explained my position
You didnt explain why you Moss was better than Rice. Im done with Brown/Smith. I want to hear about how Moss is better Rice. This is gonna be epic
It’s hard to say anything against Emmitt Smith, he is worshiped here. But yes I’ll take Barry I’ll take sweetness I’ll take Earl Campbell I’ll take Riggins before him.I was a huge Walter Payton fan, but I think I really liked Barry Sanders more. Imagine how dominant he would have been if he had the luxury of an O'line like Emmitt had.
No disrespect to Emmitt, but Barry Sanders would be my pick. He would make Zeke look like an miniscule amateur.
I still have to give that to Jerry Rice. Randy moss isn’t even close to the same classBecause Randy Moss on his best day is the best WR that’s ever played and it’s not close.
