This is very true.Dak lovers, face the truth, he’s average at best.Even most of his completions weren’t on target.Almost every throw was a foot or two ahead, behind, low, or high.Kellen stinks as well.I hope he goes to a different team.Maybe he might do more w/ a better QB than our 40 million dollar man.

It's not that simple but I agree they can't overcome turnovers vs the better teams. Pathetic run game certainly didn't help.

Moreso whoever wins the turnover battle usually matters. If you get a few you can give up a few but if you don’t it will come back and bite you

Most TE's are not great blockers. Everyone whined and moaned about Witten and he was a great blocker. Bottom line is that Dak has more talent around him than any QB in the NFL. He needs to win or suffer criticism for his poor play.

Oh don't get me wrong, Dak doesn't suffer from a lack of talent around him.

I am just agreeing with the other poster. Schultz sucks as a blocker. I mean he's really bad.

No doubt he was inaccurate at times. Of course there were some misreads. He seemed rattled on occasion.
Fumbling that ball really hurt our chances. I blame him for that.

Any offense in the NFL is only as good as the QB - period. Dak is a sub-par QB who has benefitted from playing in a horrible division which basically gets him 6 games every year against bad opponents. Sorry but what you saw out there today is not what an elite QB looks like not even bloody close and it's laughable to think that Dak is a good QB let alone an elite one.

But he is better than Wince and Goff cause he still with the team that drafted him... Dak will lose majority of all games in the NFC West if we were in that division. Oh the Bears just destroy the Giants. The freaking BEARS! That how pathetic our division is.

I agree it is mainly him. I also agree that he will not have 4 straight 400 yard passing games in the postseason. So am I hearing you say that if we paid him 7m LESS a season...that money would compensate for what this team is missing?

No, he's the wrong QB. I've been advocating against resigning Dak for years on this board. I just don't see anything more than an average NFL QB. The best we can hope for in the playoffs is that he recognizes what he is and tries to not lose the games with bad plays. His best year was his rookie year with a limited playbook and coaches micromanaging him.

You’re exactly right. He didn’t have good players. We have good players. Before he got Aaron Jones and Devante Adams, he had no help.

If Rodgers had our weapons and defense, he would be unstoppable.

Dak and everyone else have to take their share of the blame for the loss. Dak with bad reads, overthrown balls. Receivers dropping balls. Bad play calling. The defense couldn't get off the field the first 3 quarters after having 3rd and long. The FG kicker just sucks. Coaches got out-coached on both sides.

No...but when we convert a 3rd down...and it gets called back because of holding...that is a lot to overcome.

When we are trying to establish the run game....and the TE completely whiffs (AGAIN) on 1st down...and we lose 3 yards. And now we are in 2nd and 13...that is HARD for a QB to constantly overcome.

And the defensive coordinator completely SCHOOLED Kellen Moore. I get the QB gets the majority of the blame...because they get most of the praise....but Kellen Moore, the OL and the run game etc..were all bad today.

Good post except one thing. Establish the run game? KM gave up on this years ago. We put up 56 points last week, and our top 2 RBs only ran the ball 17 times. Dak throw the ball almost 40 times in a blow out. The fans want the team to run more (or more precisely Pollard to run more) but KM clearly only cares about the passing game.

This team needs a whole lot more on the OLine to create a reasonable run game for Dak to be useful. He isn't the QB who is going to carry this team, instead he's the guy that needs to be carried, so yes for what he is the money he is paid and the money Zeke is paid needs to be paid to get more talent on the OLine.

But the ENTIRE offense was bad!!! Coaches, OL, RBs, WRs etc...

Dalton Schultz CANNOT block. People might like him because he catches and has yards. But when you have Cooper, Lamb and Gallup..and Zeke in the backfield...someone has to be open. And often it is Dalton Schultz. If he made tough catches....I could understand the love. But he makes routine catches because he is wide open. My point. He is not all that impressive. TEs in this offense need to be able to block to for the run game to work. And he could not block my grandmother (who is deceased by the way)....so I will not miss him.

Untimely holding calls. Lack of separation. Bad play calling. But more than anything....the inability to run the football. And this is not something that just started happening. When the playoffs start...Dak is NOT going to throw for 450 yards 4 straight games. We cannot run the football. And because of this...our ceiling is the divisional round.

He fumbled the game away.

Oh, b/c we can beat the Giants and WFT we are good? This roster can't beat anyone unless we are near 100% healthy. The Cards just beat us without their 2 top CBs, 2 of their top 3 pass rushers, top 2 rbs, and Hopkins. Yet, they win on our field. Let that marinate for a while.

Just because they had some starters out means nothing. People tend to forget 2nd and 3rd stingers are still pro football players, fighting to be starters.

We most likely will play them again in the playoffs and yall act like this is the end of our season.

I'm glad our team does have the same "We should just give up" mentality some of yall share here.
