Finally got to watch this game and this game was not on Dak

Forum rules prevent me from saying it clearly but I would wager major money that the people that refuse to see Dak’s performance yesterday played a major role in the outcome also think the My Pillow Guy is some sort of prophet and truth teller.

Ya'll haters are crazy with hate.

This game was not on Dak. If anything, Dak kept us in this game.

I counted 5 batted balls and 2 drops. That is 7 of his 14 incompletes for the game.

There were 2 passes I would deem bad by him. 2.

His fumble in the 2nd to last drive...it sucks, but it happens and was a great play by the defender. I am more happy that he ran the way he did making people miss (more than Zeke did all game) and not afraid of his leg. If that 22 yard run didn't get called back, he had 2 less yards running than Kyler that you all think is the 2nd coming.

THis game was not on him but here is what was the cause of the loss:

  • The total lack of a running game and threat of the run. Just anemic. No one respects Zeke as he is clearly hurt.
  • Horrible penalties. Many advantageous 3rd downs turned into much more difficult 3rd downs.
  • Another crushing missed chip shot fg.
  • Jayron dropping that gimme pick in the end zone.
  • The HORRIBLE non-fumble call on a clear fumble at the end of the game. The defense finally made a play and the refs screw us. We last saw the ball with over 4 min left...never get it back. Clearly this is Dak's Fault.

You guys are all dejected and blaming our QB but I am encouraged. I see us beating them in the playoffs. I really do. I expect our defense to clamp them down even more and I expect our offense to not shoot themselves in the foot like they did today.
I agree with all of this after rewatching it as well. But I will say that in the 1st and 2nd quarters when the game is still in reach, Dak/Moore need to be far more aggressive, trust your arm and your training and let it rip. We need to get our ST in order, can't miss a kick and can't give up an easy first down on a penalty, and even if that penalty wasn't called, which it actually was a penalty, he made a once in a lifetime catch there. And our defense needs to use Parsons' as a spy, and give up pressure and sacks but prevent the run.

I agree Dak is not THE problem, but his play has been A problem. Along with the rest of the team, he has feasted on the weak and faltered on playoff teams. Not HIS mistakes alone, but to make him the saving grace in losses is a gross injustice. Dak AND the team as a whole has to remove the feast or famine monkey if they hope to see the championship game, let alone a SB. Yesterday's game was one they SHOULD have won at home

I'm not Dak hater by any means but Dak shares in the loss. His play was not great and threw some poor passes within the game. Overall the team did not play well enough to win, they were sloppy and showed no life until late in the game. Too many penalties that killed drives. Unlike some I do not see this as a one man sport, and while Dak in my view shares in this loss there were many who did not play well in this game, both sides of the ball.

Here is the way the blame for this game should be distributed.
5% on McCarthy for using his time outs and keeping a kicker around all season that seems to miss a FG every game.
5% on Moore for not calling enough short routes
5% on the oline for getting pushed around and holding.
85% on Dak for holding on to the ball too long and his accuracy was all over the place. He is not the answer at QB but he is all this team has for now.
The running game is terrible and thats because defenses crowd up and have zero respect for Dak beating them over the top with any consistency. I would also be willing to bet this team in practice works on pass protection way more than getting off the ball and opening up holes for Zeke and Pollard. Its all about Dak, everything needs to be so perfect for him to function.

Absolutely No way this Forum is associated with an 11-5 Team.

Only thing that matters today is the Final Score at the end of our 1st Playoff game regardless of seeding.

It will be fun watching Dak Haters wallow in this No Man's land for the next 2 Weeks.

Prescott showed what the issue is yesterday and the same people still give him a pass. He will not win the team a game but he will not lose the team a game. The Cardinals were down two pass rushers and two corners. Cowboys were playing at home against a team lacking in confidence after losing a string of consecutive games. It was unacceptable for the offense to only put up 7 points through three quarters. Prescott was the QB and played an integral role in that. He has had different offensive coordinators, head coaches and everything else yet it's still the same result on the field.

You forget the 2016 playoff game against the Packers when Dak lost the game throwing a pick on that very same play.
That wasn't why the team lost that playoff game against GB back in 2016. I would tell you the truth, but you can't handle the truth.

Wrong!

3 of Dak's 5 batted passes WERE THROWN IN PASSING LANES. The Oline and RBs have to do a better job of knocking the defenders on their ***** whenever they jump up or swat their hands into a passing lane. Make those defenders fall awkward and possibly tear up a knee, etc.

Dak is not short. He's 6' 2.5", and he has changed his throwing motion over the years to help throw over taller Dlinemen.

It's ok to blame the blocking up front, instead of the QB all of the time. Stop being lazy.

It’s not lazy. They were both bad. I said it multiple times. You just have the inability not to admit when someone played bad. I’ll say it a 100th time. I cheer for the guy but this last half of the season he has not been sharp and has been an issue. Might be injury, part is line …but he’s indecisive and not throwing well or making good decisions

Yeah, Dak passed for almost a 106 passer rating. He's horrible.

Here is a photo...he is clearly blocking Dak's view of Buddah. Keep in mind all pf this happens in like a second. Dak had to trust that the TE blocked Buddah but they didnt.

Show the pic before Dak releases the ball. Also, in watching the play, you can see Baker running to the LOS. Dak absolutely should have seen him even before he turned to throw the ball.

It was a bad play by Dak that he got lucky on.

Do you watch the games at all or just throw out meaningless stats after getting home from the playground? Guy was not sharp until late in the game. If you can’t admit when he’s not on top form are you here to troll? Because it’s not to talk realistic football talk.

Since you love stats

“He opened the year with 16 touchdown passes in the first six weeks before suffering a calf injury that forced him to miss a game. After he returned, he mustered just nine touchdowns in the next seven games. He had three passing touchdowns with three interceptions in Weeks 13-15 combined.”

Did you watch the game?

I guess someone made up that 106 passer rating for Dak.

It’s obvious you don’t. You take one meaningless stat and condense it into a game without watching. I can’t talk to homers who literally have no football knowledge. You are definitely a troll or Daks bro.

Exactly what I said about the game

Pass offense

For the first three quarters, Prescott looked like the dude who has been struggling for much of the last two months. Too often he was inaccurate, missed open receivers or had passes deflected at the line of scrimmage. Amari Cooper returned to being an afterthought in the offense with three catches for 18 yards and a touchdown.

GRADE: D

Exactly what I said about the last half of season

It's been a sharp drop-off for Prescott and the Dallas offense since the beginning of the season. He opened the year with 16 touchdown passes in the first six weeks before suffering a calf injury that forced him to miss a game. After he returned, he mustered just nine touchdowns in the next seven games. He had three passing touchdowns with three interceptions in Weeks 13-15 combined.

Dak gets the most hate. By far. You know this so don’t be a lying idiot.
Hey whoa bro......didn't Bob ask us to remain respectful and civil? Why you gotta do this?

I never said "Dak doesn't get the most hate". I Was simply pointing out other people get a lot of blame too. TONS of anti zeke all over the place.

As the big dollar QB....it's only natural Dak is a bigger target. He runs the show. It's the way it's always worked and always will. Fair or not.
