It's still a bad pass. Dak has to recognize what's going on there and you have to be blind to not see Baker literally running to the spot even before the ball was snapped.

My guess is Dak thought he could get it there before Baker got there. He was wrong. Ergo, bad play call but also bad play recognition on Dak's part.
You know defensive players get paid to make plays too right? Baker diagnosed the play and jumped it. Theres nothing dak could have done its a bang bang play dak doesnt have time to gather the ball and think about it. The problem is the OC telegraphing the plays hes calling

No but the good ones find ways to make big plays when they need them. Dak isn't garbage but on the flip side he has no business being compared to Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady. He is better suited being compared to Cousins or Carr.
Unsure if Carr would be too happy being compared with Prescott. He has a far worse offensive line and defense yet continually kept his team competitive and in the hunt this season.

I would add the game planning that left Jeff Schultz one-on-one with Chandler Jones several times. Even Tyron has his hands full with Jones a time or two. Leaving your TE to block him with no help was crazy.

Yes there is something Dak could have done. He could have eaten the throw. Dak is paid to diagnose what a defense is doing. It's clear as day Baker knows something is up as he starts to shift to Dak's right and when the ball is about to be snapped, he starts sprinting towards the bunch formation.

By the time Dak turns, Baker is at the LOS. You've seen Brady and Rodgers eat screens like that when they see it's defended.

It was a bad play call and it was a bad read by Dak.

You believing some jackalopes personal opinion on some phony website says all I need to know about you.

There's a reason why Jerry and the Cowboys wholeheartedly support Dak. It's because you and your clans bad opinions are a joke.
I’m one of the people who has supported the guy on here for years. I’m just also a smart, reasonable person who is objective and can also admit when a player isn’t sharp. My goal is to win a SB and see how we can get better, not worship at the altar of Dak. The fact that multiple analysts and most on the board saw a struggle for 3 quarters isn’t out of thin air. You pull out one meaningless number that doesn’t have reality on it. If you are this bad at knowing the game, don’t post. The stats from the last 7 games I posted are real. It’s been a struggle. Jerry and family supporting the guy have nothing to do with it. Take a break

And there's nothing wrong with that ... unless you're trying to futilely argue he's an elite quarterback.

Ya'll haters are crazy with hate.

This game was not on Dak. If anything, Dak kept us in this game.

I counted 5 batted balls and 2 drops. That is 7 of his 14 incompletes for the game.

There were 2 passes I would deem bad by him. 2.

His fumble in the 2nd to last drive...it sucks, but it happens and was a great play by the defender. I am more happy that he ran the way he did making people miss (more than Zeke did all game) and not afraid of his leg. If that 22 yard run didn't get called back, he had 2 less yards running than Kyler that you all think is the 2nd coming.

THis game was not on him but here is what was the cause of the loss:

  • The total lack of a running game and threat of the run. Just anemic. No one respects Zeke as he is clearly hurt.
  • Horrible penalties. Many advantageous 3rd downs turned into much more difficult 3rd downs.
  • Another crushing missed chip shot fg.
  • Jayron dropping that gimme pick in the end zone.
  • The HORRIBLE non-fumble call on a clear fumble at the end of the game. The defense finally made a play and the refs screw us. We last saw the ball with over 4 min left...never get it back. Clearly this is Dak's Fault.

You guys are all dejected and blaming our QB but I am encouraged. I see us beating them in the playoffs. I really do. I expect our defense to clamp them down even more and I expect our offense to not shoot themselves in the foot like they did today.
Stone hands Brown missed a sure pick in the 1st quarter as well. But Dak looked off early in the game and still looks indecisive when running I think. I think we beat them in the playoffs if we see them again too. Murray has to run out of luck eventually at Jerry world.

Oh he didn't lose the game all by himself. But to say he kept us in the game is bizarre and shows your blatant Dak homerism.

What were the 2 bad passes only that you saw?
Prescot looks like he's drunk with his blank stares, glassy eyes that don't blink. Remember the DUI in College???????????

Was that why he dropped to the 4th round over questionable character issues?

There is no eating the throw there. He has the ball for like .1 seconds its catch turn and fire. Hes not reading anybody or anything hes jist firing it as soon as he gets it. I dont know why this is difficult for you to understand

50+ years in the making....:)

But since you missed or ignored my point. Dak gets "bad o-line" excuse but not zeke. That..is something I'm not getting good at.
Pollard has had more success running behind the same o line which is not helping zekes case this year. But yes they suck blocking for zeke too

Someone missed their block for him to jump it.

If he's not reading what's happening, that's a problem. He can absolutely eat that throw. Or throw it into the turf. Brady did it just yesterday against the Jets. They tried a quick WR screen and the CB jumped in and Brady chucked it at his feet.

Dak should see what is happening there. He should see Baker shifting over. He should see Baker actually creeping up to the LOS. It's crazy that you guys are arguing that Dak did nothing wrong there.

Make up all the excuses you want...the results are what they are. Just ask yourself if we would have lost if rodgers, mahomes, or Brady was our qb.

A block stood no chance as well he was coming forward at the snap

He was literally coming forward before the snap. Dak missed it. Or Dak thought he could get it to Lamb faster than Baker could get there. He guessed wrong but got away with it.

Not sure how you got politics out of a Dak comment.

Protect the big guy no matter what. Nothing to see here, all good. Sorry to be vague, without discussing politics and getting yelled at. People see what they want to see.
