I feel we could, on a fluke, beat the Cards or Rams.
Then we could beat GB if
1. The weather is warm
2. Rogers sprains his ankle.

My gut feeling is that the end of the season will be disappointing. This team seems to lose focus and hunger after minimal success. This team also lacks the intestinal fortitude to over cone penalties and mistakes and will crumble under pressure. Just another in a long line of under achieving Cowboys teams.

Unknown, my gut feeling is win the first game at home and then lose in the divisional round on the road. However, part of that is driven by history,

This has been one of the strangest seasons for that "any given Sunday" thing so "anything can happen in the playoffs" might really apply this season.

In the NFC, the Cowboys are the most feast or famine defense when it comes to turnovers and they have the most feast or famine CB facing Adams, Kupp, Evans, Smith, Samuel but it doesn't look like Hopkins will make it.

I’m not worried about our defense. It’s our offense I’m worried about. Our defense will keep us in any game and if we get opposing teams pass happy they will cause sacks / turnovers.

If our offense gives them no reason to be aggressive they’ll just be ok.

If you guys have learned anything don't you know that the Cowboys play well when everyone says they're gonna lose? At this point everyone is saying we're one and done so that means we will at least win 1 game guaranteed... I'm not throwing down any plats, but I do believe that getting Jarwin back and a focus on the running game they can beat everyone not named the Packers.

I could be wrong but I believe the reason we are feast or famine defense is whether or not we get a lead and force the other team to abandon the run and have to pass.

I think when we can pin our ears back and work to our strength which is our pass rush we create turnovers and our defense looks great.

Conversely when we don't get out to a good start and the opponent is able to run the ball on us we get gashed badly and penalized.

I'd like to think that jarwin was not the key to our offense but I'm in agreement that we could use a better blocking tight end for our running game. Schultz is good in the passing game but a blocker he is not

It's simple, if we start fast grab a 10 point lead we win. If we start slow and are down more than 8, we lose. It's been the same since 2019.

As we get ready to enter the tournament I have to say I have a few concerns but none that a strong outing against the eagles can't put on the back burner

We need to be able to run the ball .Stop the run on defense and be able to get turnovers without having the lead.

Along with that game management needs to be spot on and the kicking game needs to be consistent.

Dak also needs to run and do whatever necessary to move the chains and get touchdowns in the red zone Field goals are not going to get it against good teams in the playoffs.
If we address these concerns in the eagles game and I realize we are in their house in cold weather and they have everything to play for and we have nothing. Even if we don't win but the concerns are addressed I feel we have a decent chance in the playoffs

What's everybody else's feeling
One-and-done
Offense to inconsistent against good teams

That's my feeling as well. We've seen the core of this team in playoffs before. But they have scored 77 points in 3 playoff games so it's not like they've been completely shut down, and I do think this defense is better than 2016 and 2019. Both losses occurred when the opponent put up 30 or more and the Cowboys have NEVER won a playoff game when that happens, as in franchise history.

The problem for me is the team looked better in the first half of the season than they do now. SB Cowboys teams have been on a two game winning streak, or longer, heading into the postseason. They peaked at the right time. This team doesn't appear to be doing that, which doesn't bode well in my mind.

None of us have any idea. In today's “planned parity” NFL, there are about 5-7 good teams, any of which could catch fire at the right time and win it all. Sadly IMO, there are no great teams in the NFL any more.

Could the Cowboys catch fire and win it all? Yes, absolutely. Do they have enough talent to do that? Yes they do. Do they have the mental and physical toughness it requires to win a title? That is where I’m not so sure. Hope so.

This franchise has been “Jones soft” for decades because the GM is more like a fan himself and he runs his organization like a fan- Full of emotion but with a total lack of accountability for failure. Just keep doing it “his way” hoping Lady Luck smiles on his favorite toy and he gets lucky.

Count me as hopeful but with a strong dose of skepticism. It’s going to take this team getting red hot and iron tough starting very soon. I’m full of hope but I’ll believe it when it happens. That’s what watching this franchise under the Jones cartel will do to you.

My gut is starting to make noise that we are going to see one Dak explosion game this postseason.. I'm talking 400 yards 4 TDs.. 75% completion rate.. I don't know why but I think he's due.. The only question really is will it be enough to win the game..

Ronnie I am with you on this he is capable but he has got to play fearless and stop hesitating and being tentative it is killing his game.

Granted it was the Commanders but he was up tempo and spot on. In the Cardinals game he started to hesitate again and play tentative and it wasn't good

Geez it's like if you're going to run commit to running tuck the ball away and get it done. He is more than capable of putting this team on his back and getting this done but he's got to play with the eye of the tiger and stop playing scared

I agree bullet we got the talent and at one time Dak was a leader that inspired the team in a way no coach or owner could and got them to play for him and play over their heads.

Now he just looks hesitant and tentative and he is not displaying that leadership that is going to get the most out of this talent that we have .

He has got to get his eye of the tiger back Play fearless and inspire this team to play up to their level of talent.

I believed if anything a strong win in the hostile environment of frigid Philadelphia could inspire this team going into the playoffs

I'm going to get wild and say we have TWO good games left in us.

If we win on Saturday it's one playoff home win and smoked on the road the next week (Garrett and Wade special).

My actual thought is we stink it up Saturday again....everyone in the world writes us off, and we pull off two nice wins.

This team isnt getting to the Super Bowl, so Jerry can drop that dream now.

They needed to ride a bad division to the one seed to have a shot at that and couldn't do it.
